Poems

For every blessing
There is a curse.
We search our hearts;
Looking for who we are.
Artist show it,
Singer sing about it,
Dancers dance to it.
But do we know what
We truly want?

This is just a poem. Nothing else!

Bad?

Far from it, Miss V! Very nice, in fact.

I'm off to fetch more coffee... keep 'em coming and I'll keep readin' 'em.

This poem kinda strange

One little girl
Dances alone
One little boy
Plays a little song
Alone they are weak
But together they are strong
Dance little girl,
Sing little boy,
So the night will never end.

OooooOOOOOoooo!!!

That one does have a bit of an "odd shivery" effect to it. I like it... and would love to know the inspiration behind that piece.

One for the seasons

Bloom for me flowers
For spring has come
Sun shine for me
Today is summer
Leave fall from trees
When autumn is here
Snowflakes dance with me
Winter has begun
What season do you love?

(hope you like)

nice

I like this one about seasons because it seems to have a lovely rhythm to it.

Keep writing my dear.

after the 24th

Veronica is up at camp for 13 days. In Veronica's eloquent words - where no fun electronics are allowed.

I'm back!

Even if the best forget
And the worst remember
Don’t forget me my love
I’m yours

Even if there is
Someone else
That you love
I’ll be right here
If you fall

Because even if the best forget
And the worst remember
Don’t forget me my love
I’m yours

It was your smile
That capture me
That very first day
And ever since then
I have been standing
Right here

Because even if the best forget
And the worst remember
Don’t forget me my love
I’m yours

I have been standing here
Since the beginning
I love you
And I’ll wait
Till the end

Because even if the best forget
And the worst remember
Don’t forget me my love
I’m yours

I’m yours…

I wrote this at camp. It a song and it was really popular so I thought I post it. Hope you like!

Remembrance day

In a field down by the road
Lay cross,s in rows
All marked and dated
All alone
I stand in the field,
Thinking of the war that cause these graves
I imagine the men of long ago
Husband who went for pride
Young men with fake ages to join
Father who went for their children
Now they lie here
Some will be remembered by fame
Others by love ones
I close my eyes and imagine
My father taken away
My mother’s tears as she waved good-bye
A tear escapes my eyes
I look at these graves
Cross’s in long rows
All marked and dated
As I turn away to head home
I say “Thank you”
“For helping me remember you all”
As I walk home, I hear a noise
I look behind me
To see the cross’s marked with hearts

Welcome back!

Enjoyed both of the new offerings, MMV, but was especially touched by Rememberance Day.

Beautiful, little one! Keep 'em coming!

Here a new one

Fire
Is wild and fierce
Yet it warms us and gives light
Water
Is calm and collected
It washes away filth and grief
Earth
Is strong and determined
We treasure it because it is our home
Wind
Is kind and happy
It guides us and blow away danger
We have to care for these elements
Because they care for us

(I worked hard on this one. hope you like!)

Sorry about not posting!

The Heros In the fairy tales
The good warrior comes home
Does not matter, whose war
They were fighting
The good warrior always came back
So why,
In the name of all those fairy tales
Didn’t my good warrior come home?
During world war one?

In all the myths:
The noble knight saves the princess
Didn’t matter if she loves him or not
He would save her
So why,
In the name of those myths
Why didn’t my knight come save me?
After World war two?
