I worked in Chicago suburbs at a Dept. of Energy lab in the US.

Good question, Skari. What did I do this summer? Where did the summer go already? I had four weeks of holiday or well three and a half, but didn't get much done. Strange.

We didn't even go much anywhere. Just a quick week's trip to our cottage and to Stockholm, but that's about it. The weirdest thing. Had such big plans on renovating the house, but only managed to do complete the toilet paint job.

There's a tiny lake some 200 meters/yards from our house and since the weather was really nice most of the summer (or at least my time off work) we spent a few days on the beach although I'm not too keen on just lying on the sand in the sun.

I guess most of the days went by watching our little girls playing with the boys from nextdoor. For some reason I'm not looking forward on them all growing 7-10 years older.
