You'll pay for that

See, I would throw a uber strength mutant ice water weird in the pond just for them not looking. Miss a detail of my dungeon? I don't think so!

There was the double post of threads again. I killed one for you.

Practicle players..

Loaded dice is a fun strip. Good artwork and a fun set of characters for sure. I also enjoy reading the narrators section of every post.

It's hard to believe how practicle some characters and there players can be sometimes. As a gamer myself I can't count the number of times I have watched a player take note of something like the pool and avoid it. Sure, it would likely be troubling to deal with the pond, but that's part of the fun. As alacrity pointed out, just ignoring something could cause a problem down the line.

It can also be very hard to get a practicle player involved in a plot. If you really think about it.. Adventuring isn't a very practicle occupation to begin with but a suprising number of players who play 'practicle' characters don't take the time to think about the fact that they are out adventuring, which is not a very practicle thing.

But what can I say... I'm not one of the people who game to win. More often than not I'm gaming to be social, and have a good story. There is nothing wrong with gaming to 'win' but I think those players are missing out on part of what makes rp fun.

sweet

Welcome to the Inn, Reddrake! Good to meet you, and thanks for sharing your comments!

I agree, btw. I think that players often have a tough time handling situations as their character would, not as they personally would.

Dunegon?

That fourth keyword looks a little off: dunegon.

Unless that's the name of the super-evil super-villain who has yet to be introduced. Or Grugg has something to do with it.

huh

At the risk of sounding like a past Innmate who liked to get into political debates, I don't view Reagan as a bad thing.

But yeah, pretty much everything is Grugg's fault.

!

At the risk of sounding like a typical republican; I think Reagan was a pretty amazing thing.
