There's that duplicate thread thing again...

...I fixed it before Alacrity did this time... he must be snoozin' or stuffin' envelopes or somethin'!

Off to read the next installment, now!

Because...

...Loaded Dice is the webcomic so nice that we have to post it twice?

Hey

That's my job!

Ummm....not wanting to sound critical... But how often is Brad gonna end the comic with a derogatory statement to his fellow players? I'm thinking it could get old fast.

But maybe I don't know humour. Never got the pie in the face either.

well

Step with me behind the curtain.

Actually, this strip was orginally supposed to end with Tim's joke about Aranion doing a nice job as a meat shield. However, we had a blank panel spot, so we ended up improvising and going back to our formula of angry Brad (I couldn't figure out anything else that just didn't feel forced).

As a matter of fact, none of the other completed strips feature this type of ending. I'm sure that we'll see it again, but it may be a while.

Brian

I'm pretty sure Brian is that player stereotype who feels like the rest of the party AND the DM is out to get him. Sort of like having to bite the healer bullet, being the meatshield can be made of suck when you're the token red shirt.

Heh

I'm going to assume you mean Brad. In which case I agree.

Agree

I'd have to agree, my brother was like that in one game where he had to be the healer and meat shield.

I personally don't like players who get like that though, if I'm ever forced into a role I just run with it. Make him/her what the party needs but give him, in my mind, 'funny little quirks' that make him so different.

Just look at my character in Prometheus Rising: Straight On Til Morning, he's the most combat character of the whole group yet he's a martial artist in a world of guns with only 9 strength. Not forgetting Ken is also a clone, used to be owned but is now free and is/would be perfectly happy with the daily slog and 9 to 5 routine.

Brad.

If you asked me my top five favorite things about this comic the first would be Brad and his bladesinger.

Elves are like my favorite type of race (surface, drow, etc.) and Blade singer is a class I love. I like Brads temper too. He's always being the onet aking the damage yet he's like the best there! Great job.
