Ok new year, new NFL Football season, as I have each year for a few now I’m setting up a thread dedicated to such. The thread for the most part will be so we can all comment, or complain, on how well our team is doing during the course of the next 5 months.

So if ya want to be a part of the discussions feel free to post your favorite team and I will list you and them as such in FANS OF groups and keep track of their record of Wins/Loses throughout the year. Lets see what Team/Group has the most wins by the end of the season.

One thing this is to be a friendly topic, yes ya can tease others and joke with them, but no crude or verbal attacks, no harresment type posts and no use of foul language.

So first game, Pittsburgh-Tennessee.... man it was a dog fight to be sure. I have to say as I had Pitt in my Yahoo pick’em game I was rooting for them but the Titans fought hard sending it into OT.
If the rest of the season is this good its gonna be a hell of a good time.

Ok enough of that as you all know I be a Cowboys fan so there!! GO COWBOYS!!!

I can't seem to remember your favorite team is.

Well, I'd personally like to congratulate the best team in the league - which, to let some of you know, is the Atlanta Falcons - on their win against San Fran today. 45-10 is a wonderful score.

I must admit I'm watching football this year purely to see Favre.

I'd watch it anyway, but I'm only watching Favre now.

I have been a Vikings fan for many years. I am not overly pleased about having Favre on the team as he will always be a Packer, but it is getting easier as the wins begin to pile up.

As for the Cowboys - can't stand 'em.

As for Favre I'm watching him too as he is a great joy to watch no matter who he is playing for. And to put it bluntly it was the fault of the Packers themselves for letting him go because they thought him over the hill and Aaron Rogers better. Well they play again once more this year and as the first time I will be there to watch................

I cheered for the Bronco's cause they beat Tom Brady. The underdog story of the ugly QB who beats up the pretty boy. Good OT win.
