Come one, came all (or at least 4 to 6 of you)

I will be starting a low level 2e campaign in the New Year. I am looking for 4 to 6 players to join up. You don’t need to write epic long posts, but a willingness to post once a week and keep the game moving. I like characters with a good background and I am more than willing to help anyone new to the system.

Races are restricted to Audalis (Khords, Syls, Humans, Cidals, etc etc) and you will start out as a party that has had their first adventure and is now looking for more (2nd level or 1/1 splits). Classes should be core, but I will look at any kits people may wish to bring up. A couple of fighters is a good idea, one rogue type and a mage for sure. More details on the game itself will be coming. If you wish to play a mage, I use a mana point system that gives you more flexibility and power so you won’t be a two spell wonder.

If you have never played 2e, I can translate from 3. 4e is a bit more problematic but I can figure out any system. The adventure will be a short one and if the players enjoy themselves and wish to continue I will make more.

For those of you not familiar with Audalis, it is the game setting created for this site and there is a button on the top bar that will lead you to information on it. If you are familiar with the setting, we will be starting out in Drannon.

I've already made one Drannese character for Cap's game and could use that if the game never takes off. Then again, since I'm hoping Cap'n Lou returns soon, I'll create another one instead.

Although if I end up with the CWWLLO crew, I may revive that game.

Triple class always seemed to me to be the ADD of AD&D. Not saying no but tough to play.

Sooo Al Y don't you try a restart of that game. Most of the players are here more often and do a temp replacement for the ones who are not.

OK, i have no hope of turning down this opportunity so I might as well sign up while there's spots left. I would love to play if there are enough spots for me, i'm going to need some time to work out a concept but for now if you want an example of my playing quality you can check out the sole posts I've made in Dying of the Light, New Spores of Itanlock - 2, or the game we are both in (which i've been absent from in the last little while) Star Trek: No Good Deed. If you will have me then I will begin working on a concept and piece together a character sheet. Let's see we have a fighter and a mage/thief?... the gears are turning. Oh how I love 2nd Edition.

Thanks Pekka - for some reason I thought the Vidarak were a bird-like race. Silly me. This is fine, I look forward to your character.

Even though you've already stated that I can't be the princess, , I would like to join up possibly. I'll see what I can come up with for a character idea.

Though not totally familiar with Audalias per say I am very experienced in 2ed. Unfortunately I am in Iraq and the moment and have no real access to character generation materials. If you would not mind generating one for me I'll play; perhaps the thief?

Keeper considering I sent him a Mage/Thief you may want to rethink that option. Also, Keeper, as I have the 2e Computer program, as you well know, I would be happy to roll up a character for ya, with Alacrity's ok of course. If you and Al would like to save some time I would be more then happy to do so before or after Football today.

A Gil warrior would be very interesting to play as well. Short-lived most likely, but interesting nevertheless. That is, if you'd allow playing a Gilskalos in your game, taking into account the special weapons they have. On the other hand the armor restriction will even up the score pretty well.
