Wait a minute!

I have to be friends with this group of vagabonds, I can't be the princess... and now you expect me not to kill anyone until you say so!

Ehh! I don't know if I can take these kind of restraints Al!

Elariel Onadren

Elariel Onadren
Background
Born Elariel Rolomin in the forests around Nandina, Maelamin there was nothing in her childhood that made her stand out in any particular way. Like most of her people she excelled at the bow and found herself in tune with the forest around her.

She married Castien Onadren and settled into the peace of marital bliss for several years. They had begun to prepare their home for the children they planned to have when the accident occurred. A forest fire (whose origins were never fully determined) swept across Nandina and over the home where she was curled in the embrace of her love.

When the flames died down and the smoke left her lungs she woke only to be told that her beloved was gone. The right side of her body, which Castien had failed to cover with his own in his last moments, was terribly burned but she would live.

Rebuilding her home proved to be too much for her, and staying in Nandina where everything reminded her of what she had lost that fateful night so she left.

Appearance
Ela is nearly six feet tall and is a striking woman with a slightly mysterious air to her. This is heightened by the veil she wears across her nose and mouth which still does not fully cover the burn scars on the right side of her face. She wears a tight green undergarment that clings to the lines of her legs and her right arm, her left arm is bare. Over that she has a leather vest lined with ring mail, and a long skirt. Leather boots an a cloak finish off the look. She always carries a graceful elven bow with her and she still wears her wedding ring.

Party Known Information
She is quiet a great deal of the time. Her party members would have seen glimpses of the burns on her face despite the veil and can determine from that why she wears it, though she does not speak often of what happened. To those who have taken the time to try and learn about who she was before she started adventuring they would know that she was a widow. Her bow is named Castien.

She is not particularly religious, but does pay respects to the Gods as needed for a certain task. Vilathera gets most of her prayers. While Shinara gets most of her curses.

Humor is not her strong point. More often than not she listens quietly to those around her, simply observing. While she prefers to be in the woods she is comfortable in cities.

Party would also know she is deadly with a bow, incredibly fast and accurate. However with a sword her style is more suited for chopping wood. - added by Alacrity

think of it as incentive

Maybe if you are nice and fill in the blanks on the sheet I sent you 2 and a half days ago, I'll throw some kobolds at you.

Small note

For those of you who might not be familiar with Drannon (and you should read the article ) the people of Drannon are fond making things bigger than they are and quite "fake" - hence a small village styles itself a kingdom, with a princess instead of a Lady, a Castle instead of a manor. Bards in drannon sing long ballads about tragic love stories where the hero always dies in the end. It is sorta fall of Rome meets chivalry knights meets pre-civil war southern USA.
