Dear Mods, Almerin (my DM), and players in my Shadowrun game (Tann, Steelight, Dakarta, and Jheherren):
It is with sadness that I inform you that, effective immediately, I am taking an indefinitely leave from the Inn.
Real life issues in my family require my immediate attention and I am uncertain at this point if it will be possible to return here.
My apologies to you, Almerin, in departing from your game. I know you always value real life over gaming and you are surely understanding, but I still hate "flaking out".
My apologies to my players in my upcoming Shadowrun game. Again, I am sure you understand real life takes priority over gaming. However, I also know some of you have invested by time and money in preparing for this game, and I am sorry that you have wasted both on a game that is now not happening.
Real life needs to take priority. Thankfully I found digital copies of the books so no harm done. Good luck with your circumstances, and I do hope that you will be able to return at some point (and perhaps pick up the Shadowrun game then huh?).
Things must be pretty hard on you if you decide to jump away from the inn indefinitely. I hope everything will turn out for the better.
It really sucks to see you leave the game, Scott, since you're a quality player that you don't find every day. But I'll comfort myself with the knowledge that you'll return eventually. You always do.
In the mean time, I'll find a replacement.
