A Ray of Hope
Every day for a week plus the news from the hospital grew wors This morning is was even worse on DM
s condition. She is still on ventilator, dialysis and massive does of meds to keep her blood pressure up besides the rest of the antibiotics.
Dr. call this afternoon with a small ray of hope. Joanne woke and was alert after many days of non-awareness. She pointed to her stomach. Dr asked her if she had pain. She shook her head no. Dr then asked her if she was hungry and she nodded yes. That is the best thing we have had in a week. That ray has given us hope. You do not know how appreciated your Prayers and well wishes thus far and for their continuance. It is a long road home.

Prayers
Tell DM that our prayers are with her. I hope for a speedy recovery. Have you asked the church of jesus christ of latter day saints missionaries to give her a blessing?

Update
Went to see Joanne. She is about the same but more alert. They have her weaned off one medication for blood pressure, which is good because she was maced ot on two. They are planning to get that scan done tomorrow so at least they can not move her before they didn't dare to.
