Don't worry about being new, either. I'm sure you'll find that all of us Innmates (staff and regulars alike) are, for the most part, helpful and accommodating... usually all you've got to do if something's got you confuzzled or befungled is shoot out a post or a PM, then kick back and watch all the rest of us come runnin'!

...the best place to start, if you're looking to get into a game, is in the Recruitment Forums. Any games that are looking for players (or players that are looking games, for that matter) usually will have a posting there.

If you're interested in a "brand-spanking-new, fresh-out-of-the-box" game that's looking for players, I know that cdnflirt (or Flirty, as we oldtimers tend to call her) is looking for some folks to fill out her Safari Zone game. The recruitment thread is here, and it loojs as if she's recently tacked on an intro post for the game itself here. Give it a look and see if it interests you. If so, sign right up... If not, keep looking... something will turn up sooner or later, I can practically guarantee it.

What brought you to the Inn?

Shoot, once I was where you are now, just finding my way with the help of some great Inn-mates (btw, has anyone heard from Mr. Conquest?). Hope we can do the same for you! Once even Eol was new and no one had even heard of the FaceLick--you still have some dribble there, Drabitt. Years ago we were not yet blessed with Merideth's presence and the power of purple kitty smilies. Then there was the epoch before Alacrity when no one had to fear his mighty Ban-Hammer. Eons ago, when the world that would become Audalis was just a red-hot, formless mass in the void of imagination, even t_catt11 was new. It didn't stop him, nor should any degree of "new-ness" put a damper on your enthusiasm. . .

Welcome to the Inn!

Let me be another of the Inn’s Staff member’s to welcome you to our site. As you hopefully have already seen there’s a lot to do here for sure so take your time and get comfortable with our site. There are a wide variety of AD&D rules sets in use here, even at one time a game run on the very first rules edition.. Basic .. Along with a number of varying game systems from Fantasy to the Sci-fi to the occult to plain horror there is always something for someone including even Free Form games here at the Inn.

The Inn has been around quite some time and for a great majority of us is a second home so please treat the Inn, its Staff and all it’s members with respect and we will treat you the same.

So again welcome its always nice to have new people come to us and I hope you’ll feel quite at home here. If you have any questions about the site feel free to PM myself or any other Staff member as needed.
