Locations
Firetop Mountain - A mountain that has been made the home of a powerful warlock, within lays treasures and foul beasts.
Gilford - A small fishing village on the edge of a lake fed by a river that runs through Firetop Mountain. The village itself is two days walk from the mountain and no stables exists to provide transport.
The Unicorn Run tavern - a small, but well-kept, inn that serves the inhabitants of Gilford.

Rumours
The entrance to the mountain labyrinth is two days walk from town, it's guarded by goblins who live in the foothills.
The lord of the mountain is a power old wizard.
Enslaved to protect whoever lives in the mountain is a dragon of some sorts.
The lord of the mountain appears as a young man, is actually age is unknown.
Once the warlock is dead the mountain will fall, it being held in place by only his magics.
A city of dwarfs once traded with the town, the warlock put a stop to this by killing the dwarf clan leader.
Whoever steps into the mountain is cursed to die.
Among the foul beast to inhabit the mountain is something the locals describe as 'a night terror' the preys on those that sleep within the mountain.

Update
Just to tell you that I am sorry for my long absence. Family isues caused me to have to leave it when I did and now I am in the middle of my exam period.
I'll admit that over the last few days I have had the time to post, unfortunatly I have not had the mental capasity to do anything but watch TV, revise and sit exams. I am now on the home stright though and will be done on Monday when normal service should resume.
Chessicfayth, I hope your leaving has nothing to do with me not being able to post for so long.

I'm gonna have to go with Chessic on this one, I've got a game of my own to run soon, and I'm not sure I can devote the time to this anymore. Maybe we can pick up somewhere at a later date, when my own plate isn't so full.
