I am running a game using the Serenity RPG based on the Firefly TV series. I have lost a player and would like to find someone to take over the role or come abroad with a new character.

The player in question is "Ken" who is the hired gun, muscle man of the group - like Jayne only more pleasant and less greedy.

If you are interested let me know. I can walk you through the rules so don't worry about not knowing the system. It is a very "role-player" based game, so backgrounds and personality matter. You may take on the role of Ken if you'd like or bring in a new character and we could weave them in later on.

I might change the Ken character a little bit in the way I play him... we will have to wait and see.... it should be fun in any case.

Dont think Ken will go that route... I see him as being a little more reserved than that... but only time will tell...

I am now looking for another player to take on the role of the Doctor, either the one on board or a different character with first aid experience. I am open to idea and as I said above, I can walk you through character development.

The players in question are Jon the Captain and Brian the Doctor. Niether have posted enough to establish a personality in the story so we can tweak existing or switch over to a new character.

Folks just seem to like playing your games! If Castle R. is to be short lived, I could take the Doc, but I'd like to change him or make a new one. I would take out the limp, languages and the non-combatant. Maybe a "new" guy would be better. More of a "Doc Holiday" type, a bit darker character, checkered past, med skilled but lost his license to general practice for some reason. "Doc" has no problem killing and maybe he's a bit paranoid.

If that seems fine and you'd have me I'll work on a character sheet.

Odyson has agreed to take on the role of Captain Jon and I have a possible player for a doctor.

Just missed it. If the possible Docter falls through I'm open to play.
