Ok here is an idea I had. Me being the adolescent I am I was wanting to make a game of one of my favorite cartoons(which I don't have very many of anymore)... Adventure Time! Hehe...

The reason I would like to do this kind of thing is because it is something I can really relate to and understand fairly well. I may even be able to GM this game if anyone is interested(?). I may have to brush up on my knowlege of the land of Ooo and decide a style of gameplay (free-form, etc.). Depending on how many people are interested I will post a background on the land of Ooo. If anyone is curious here is a little I know from memory:

The land of Ooo is Earth, just with a giant spike through the middle. There are many strange people and creatures, believed to be the result of radiation from the "Great Mushroom War"(nuclear bomb clouds shaped like mushrooms). The war wiped out all of the humans(supposedly) except Finn the Human(can modify for people who want to be humans, maybe an encounter with Finn, reuniting the last humans on Earth,[or should I say Ooo]).

Anyways thats the basic background. Suprisingly for a cartoon it has a really in-depth history. Again this is just to see if anyone is interested. Thanks!

This is probably a game for those with open and imaginative minds, which I'm sure many of us have, otherwise we wouldn't play these games Also this is a sort of childish-teenage minded game so if you don't like a little bit of immaturity in some statements this is probably not for you! Adventure Time is one of my FAVORITE shows on T.V. I don't care if your a kid or an adult, this show is hilarious.

Just do it, I'm signing up for this RP. No way am I passing this up! I just need to think of a character though...it can be any animal of any species and type, right?

Well, I'm surprised so many people are interested (good surprised). And in response to pyroboom yes it can be any race or culture (penguins, candy person, human, magic dog, vampire, etc.). Umm I'm still unsure of the game style because of the world of Adventure Time and how it's set up. If anyone has any suggestions like free-form or a rule-based game that;d be great. I want to be sure this is a good game that everyone can enjoy.

I have to say this is tempting.. I have only watched Adventure Time a couple of times, but I found it fairly witty, AND RPG-ish. I actually imagined the writers to be old gamers who moved on to cartooning, or maybe the other way around. either way I look forward to reading this.

It's time for me to make my guy! Or gal...whatever.

I already have an idea for a character, a vampire cat, the cat can walk on two legs(kind of like Jake), and has sharp claws. But what's most interesting, is just the fact it's a vampire. Not truly evil, kind of like Marceline from the show, she will eat the color red. She has dark color fur, and no true monstrous vampire form, other than red eyes and that stereotypical angry cat thing with the fur raised and back raised up.
It won't have any true special powers other than it's sharp claws, it being a talking cat, and it having vampire powers.
I haven't truly decided on a gender, I believe it should be female.
Anyways, this is Adventure Time! It should definetly be freeform!

Ok Pyro thanks for the suggestion! I was also leaning towards free-form myself. I will post a Character thread soon and also give some insight on what is allowed as far as characters go.

Ok so here is the rules as far as characters go. You can be pretty much anything you want within Adventure Time reason. You can make up any kind of animal or person you want so long as you create a reasonable and mildly detailed background for it. I will make a post on here about the background of the world next and you can kind of base your idea of that.
