(Archipelago is a Webcomic with amazing characters and story, it brings fantasy together with sci-fi in a seamless blend of swords, spells, and ancient (yet futuristic) technology. i recomend it to everyone here. its always getting better in both artwork and storytelling. heck it even updates every other day)

I woke to a bright light shining in my eyes. "nng, turn it off im awake" i moaned sheilding my eyes "oh, its the sun....". i jumped to my feet as the information sank in "the sun!" i shouted quickly looking around, i was on a boat, a Junk by the looks of it and a small one at that, the air smelled of sea and i could hear the loud creaking of the boat and the soft splashing of the waves suggesting calm waters. on the deck there was a Velociraptor-like creature, i knew it was a Seranith, yet i dont remember where i heard about them or if ive ever seen one before, it had brown fur with tan spots, it looked female but i wasnt entirely sure. there was another creature on the deck as well, a half-beastman of the avian variety, he had snow white feathers and hair, he was rather short and wirey, both him and the Seramith were eather unconsious or in a deep sleep.
