I have no idea what im doing. I would like to play something similar to Dungeons and Dragons.

Hello and Welcome
You have come to the right place for helpful friendly gamers.
Look at header tabs [gray bar below banner click on interactive Then down list to Dragon Forum. Scroll down page until you come the "Rules Based FPG" D&D danes and those like it are listed there. PM the Game Master of that game for any opening. Thought I am sure some weill soon be contacting you on this website by PM or in the message line

The main thing you need to do is just keep an eye on the recruitment thread here and check it once every few days to see what games come up looking for players.
After that it's all about introducing yourself to the DM/GM and getting with him on what kind of character you two come up with. Most Game Masters will be happy to help you create a character for thier game so don't be shy. While your waiting for a game feel free to add a comment or two in the numerous discussions taking place all over the Inn and if you want a pic to go with your name just click on your name go to the bottom of the page to where it says Edit User Profile. Then again go to the bottom of the page where you'll see quite a few Avatar catagories find a pic you like then click on the downward arrow on the change Avatar part of your profile untill you find the pic you liked and click on it and you'll have a pic to go with the name as most of the rest of us do.
