Alright, me and a few friends started a True 20 game in a homebrew multiverse setting and I thought "Hey, lets try this out on RDI!" So here I am, with open arms for anyone looking to join this game. I'm looking for 3-5 players and once the group is together I'll explain much more about the setting and what you'll be doing.

I would like to join, if I may. I was thinking of a German(hessian) Musketteer.

I'd like to reiterate Jozan's question; what is true20? Is it a d20 system akin to DnD and PF, or another system all together. Before I can decide if I can make time for another game I need to know just a bit more..

True 20 is a system based purely off the d20. All rolls are made and then the applicable bonus is added or subtracted from your total, so on so forth. The game can be played in almost any genre and character customization is filled with many options, I may or may not restrict players to being just human but that time is yet to come. Plus, I am interested in a Multiverse game, but it's still confusing as we know nothing about this besides the system it uses and what the game will most likely be about.

Alrighty, so basically what this game will be based on in this multiverse is groups of adventurers called core hunters. Every universe has a core, and every universe is also watched over by a nexus. People who wish to make their own nexus can go out, take a universes core and make one. By taking the universe's core, this enables the universe to die out. Sometimes this is really quick, or in Earth's universe's case, doesn't happen until a certain date is reached. Also 4shared is the only site I know of for good quality pdf's, so if making an account is too much trouble you may want to try searching the web for one.

Kamina, how many points are we enabled to use for the creation of our characters? The general value in the book is 6, but if you have something else in mind that would be great.

I'm sticking to 6, but if you want you're allowed to subtract up to -2 from other attributes. Example: Str:3 Dex:2 Con:2 Int:0 Wis:-1 Cha:0

What are our limitations on character creation? Can we just pull from any setting or what? I'm confused on how we should be making our characters

I am also interested in joining this game, but like most other posts on this thread I feel there is too little information given for me to definitely be in.

I have downloaded the rule book and it seems that there is too wide a choice to be able to decide on a character without knowing the setting!

I'll be honest and say I didn't expect much interest in this game, but since there is I should probably explain a lot more.

Alright so this setting takes place in the multiverse. Every universe has 2 main things, a core, and a nexus. The Nexus is what watches over the Universe, they can look like just about anything from a cave structure to a giant metropolis. Then there is the Universe Core. This is an integral part of the universe and what keeps it alive. If a core is taken from it's universe it can be made into a nexus, causing the universe to destroy itself which can take mere seconds, to thousands of years. One such case is our home universe here that houses Earth, in this setting a group of Core Hunters came to Earth and let the Mayans know the universe was ending and they were taking the core, thus the Mayan Calender ending in 2012. If you wish to have your character from earth PM me about it. Now then, each Nexus has gates that lead to the main planet, or core, of the universe. These gates can open up during very important events on the planet. In Earth's case, because of all our wars and celebrations and such, many Nexus Gates have opened and closed, allowing us to evolve technologically faster than most other universes. Those universes that don't evolve technologically due to Gate openings, instead evolve magically. These planets tend to be more Tribal or Shamanistic. There are other technologically advanced Universes out there, but none have made it far as Earth, therefore most of these planets are in the ages of blackpowder or bronze. As for character design I'm restricting races to Human, you only have 6 points for attributes and you can take up to a -2 penalty for extra points. As for classes, Warriors are Tank/DPS, Experts are your skill masters and Adepts are the magical people. (No Flesh Shaping, and Teleport/Apport rites may be taken away if abused)

Try not to make an over the top Mary Sues, this setting will cause some people to be considered one anyways though, and if there are any other questions PM me. Thanks for all the interest guys!
