Karma: 95/24 4363 Posts	Laptop Died My laptop died last night n revived long enough this morning to allow me to copy some files on my new flash drive I bought to back up my game writing so am posting this notce from my phone n will get back to games after I get a replacement laptop ! 	Odyson PUN-dit Karma: 158/25 6327 Posts	Maybe Just A.... Maybe you only need a new hard drive. Could be cheaper than a new laptop. A friend gave my son his Toshiba becase he'd dropped it and it wouldn't boot. I baught a new hard drive and loaded the OS and other stuff (he gave him all the disc's too). It's been fine ever since. 	Hammer Extreme Exclaimator! Karma: 95/24 4363 Posts	Cloud with Silver Lining So I had to replace my laptop as they were unable to get it to boot up! Took it to the same store where I have bought my previous laptops and they gave me a $30 discount on a trade in; plus because I was a 'faithful customer' they gave me a Free 'Notebook Cool Pad' ($20 value) and a 'My Laptop To Go' (not sure of the price value?) that holds both my laptop (cost just under $300) and my 'Notebook Cool Pad' and my cool pad and laptop sit right in the open case while I type and surf the internet sites (especially the Inn!) Transferred my current game info from my Flash Drive, so I am back in 'gaming' business! Posted on 2013-12-27 at 15:34:16.
