Ads on the Inn?
You may have noticed that I have removed the long running Google ads from the sidebar here in the forums, and replaced them with Amazon stuff.
To be honest, the Google ads had long since stopped being relevant, and they weren't helping the Inn much, anyway.
I'm hoping that displaying things like RPG sourcebooks, modules, etc will be more useful to the membership.
If you are considering purchasing anything from Amazon, please consider clicking on one of our ads before you do so, as the Inn does get a little bump for anything that you buy after coming from one of our ads (even if what you buy is not what was advertised).
Thanks for your continued support of the Inn.
Feedback, as always, is welcomed!

I like the change...
...as you said, the Google Ads seemed to become increasingly irrelevant. Great decision, boss!

At least it's relevant...
Certainly beats some of the other ones I've seen. On another site, I always wonder what catheters, spa giftcards, and dubious pharmaceuticals have to do with Star Trek...

Amazon Grace ;)
Works for me, Ty! I get extremely tired of seeing "miraculous" dermatology miracles and online poker rooms on virtually every other website and wikia I visit- this is a refreshing change.
Amazon is a friendlier place and its ads are significantly less intrusive.

cool
Glad that this is positively received so far!
I'm going to try to add a little variety to them, too - Amazon gives me light years more control than Google did. They pay based off of actual sales, as opposed to clicks or displays... so again, if you're thinking of buying something from Amazon (does not have to be anything RPG related), consider clicking a link from the Inn to get there.
