Hello everyone. I stumbled upon this site while searching the web for a place to roleplay. My name is Linda but Boo Boo is my nickname so call me that please.

I have done chat gaming online before but been out of the game for a couple years. I'm looking to get back into it now as I have some free time I am looking to fill. I notice you have a lot of gaming systems but afraid I don't know anything about any of those. Do you have any games that is just chat or posting without rule systems? Not sure what to call it sorry!

I have been reading some of the gaming on here and it seems exciting and will continue to read more to learn about this place. I look forward to hopefully finding something I can fit into on here.

WE do have a lot of "non-rules based" games that happen hereabouts, by the by... You can usually find most of them in the under the Freeform heading. Right now, in fact, there's a "moderated free-form" game based on the Star Trek universe taking place and I'm not sure how many more beyond that. Also, chatroom RP happens on a fairly regular basis, around here... ya just gotta wait for it to get hopping.

As to not being familiar with and/or knowing the rules to any of the other systems... don't let that intimidate you... I think you'll find that most of us around here are super-friendly and super-excited to lend a hand if you need it, so, if you see something that interests you, don't let a "lack of experience" keep you away.

Now, after pointing you to Pit F(r)iend's super-groovy guide for newbies I'll stop running off at the mouth and let the other Innmates have their say.

Well I dont think I want to jump into any D&D game. I've never played and I would probably have alot of problems. I'm looking for what seems to be called Free form on here. A posting game as the chat doesnt seem to have any users logged in that I can see.

Does anyone have a free form game that has openings? Nothing major just a small role maybe. I saw the Star Trek game and while I do like Trek though I'm not a Trekkie.

I am enjoying what I am reading. There is some serious writing talent here it sort of intimidates me a little bit.

There are several spots currently occupied by NPCs on the roster for theTrek game, Boo Boo. If you're interested, I bet we can find a place for you aboard the Peregrine . You don't have to be Trekkie to play... just enthusiastic about posting.
