In a recent forum thread, I mentioned that we were going to be making some serious improvements to the Inn.  This announcement serves notice that this was not so much smoke being blown up your collective skirts.

Behold, the Inn has finally upgraded to a full featurerd WYSIWYG editor!  No longer do you need to know HTML to make pretty posts. 

In addition, you can freely copy/paste content from MS Word and Adobe Acrobat documents. 

Better yet - this is only the first improvement we have planned. 

Major thanks go to Alacrity and Bromern Sal for getting me off my butt and back to work on the Inn.  Thanks go to both gentlemen, and well as to Eol Fefalas, for testing the features and putting up with pam emails from me.

Keep your eyes peeled - there is a LOT more to come!

Edit: if the new shark smiley  isn't your favorite part of this upgrade, I have doubts as to whether you possess a soul.

Thanks for letting me help with the testing and such, as well... I didn't even mind the "spam e-mails"... Spam is actually pretty good if you fry it up and put some mustard on it.

Looking forward to the next upgrade, as well. We might even need to slap a fresh coat of paint on the sign outside.

Oh, yes.  Take a look at those Asana tasks, sir. 

...and zeroed in on the editor and brainstorming tasks. I skimmed the others but none of them really registered until just now!

I just went to edit a post in my game's Q&A that I had just edited not 2 hours ago. I immediately closed the post and back tabbed in a blind panic, not knowing what twilight zone I had just entered into.

In other words:

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUGHHHHHHHHHHHthat's real flippin' neato"

(I totally thought I had glitched it because my login timed out)

I joined the site but the app makes it darn convenient when I'm wandering around with my tablet.

You may note that message subjects are no longer required.  You have to have one when starting a new topic (for obvious reasons), but if you won't want to put some nonsense in the message space... then just don't, you rebel you.
