Olan Makes Vanilla Extract

This weekend, I made up a batch of vanilla extract.  If you cook or bake much (especially for the holidays), you might want to give this a shot... the results just CRUSH store bought flavorings.

i agree

Oh,  it is legit, I just find it funny that it is the same recipe as making vanillia schnappes, minus three - four months of steeping.

A baker I follow on youtube suggests you make the next batch when the first batch is ready. That way you always have some going.
