I won't be able to post this week

Sorry... had a surprise conference that work sent me to this week and a cold. I could maybe post Sunday night...

So... this is the part I like best about Almerin's games...

Now what?

The joy of Almerin's games is that he does not railroad the story, and his clues are usually rather subtle. So, I imagine this round of posts to be a time for us to make a decision of where we want to go next...

Do we continue to try and pick up the trail we began with?

Do we go back to the inn and check up on/ question our brethren (and possibly rest/regain spells)?

Do we pursue the ankheg lead? Or the stony hand lead?

Are there more questions we need to ask the Stinkhorn? Is there something we can give to the Stinkhorn that allows us/him to contact him/us should we/he need him/us?

Let me say that these are the spots where it is easiest for Almerin's games to die.... let's not let that happen here!

Personally, I'm in favor of going back to the inn, questioning our rescued brethren, and resting/recuping our spells.

What about you? What other information do we know so far? What do you think the party should do next?

Thanks!

Time for some brain activity ^^

Nice post ^^

About what to do next:

I think we don't have enough information to go with the stoney hand lead, I figure we'll find out more about that in a later stage of the game. I think the same counts for the Ankheg lead, we'll probably find out more about why they came to the forest when we question the rescued Khords or when we continue following the trail we began with.

I say we return to the spores to question the Khords, they might be able to tell us what happened (if they are conscious again..)

Does anybody have a walkie-talkie to give to the stinkhorn? I actually don't know how to contact him from a distance..

To infinity and beyond! Or to the spores..

Good plan

Going back to the spores sounds like a good plan.

alright

Sounds like a plan. But though I'm quite pleased with this Q/A discussion I would be even more pleased if everybody could squeeze a small post in before Saturday. Otherwise I feel like I'm writing to myself.

Could just be your intentions to go back to the Spores Inn, how to get back to the Spores Inn and how to deal with the (un)conscious Khords.
OR it could be a bit more interaction. So far, Niaou'li and Gyviar have talked a bit, but I think there is more to this interaction. At least, there might be more to it. There is the fact that Niaou'li suddenly sprouted leafs on her hair. Baldorf has been doing some crazy stuff with clouds and the likes. If you guys want, there is plenty of stuff to converse about while moving to the Spores.

Again: not necessary, but it gives flavour to the game and depth to your character.

My excuse

I've got sick kids at home that have required my attention. Sorry for not posting this sooner. Berodin will spend spell slots to heal the barely breathing khords.

no problem

Not a problem, Gyviar. I'm happy with the post. Gives me something to work with.

I can say that you've gotten about all the information that you're going to get from the children and Kretarund. Update was possible this time without everybody being involved. I can't go on like this though. We need posts from all the players next time.

Getting something up...

I hope to... early this week. I think flu season is finished in our house (6 of 8 of us have had it now... and us remaining two aren't showing any signs yet... so, YAY!), plus my busy work retreat has just wrapped up too.

Thanks for your patience.
