Yep...

...my youngest just bought her first house and today is moving day, so I likely won't have anything tonight. Tomorrow looks doable... got a post started just not finished.

Just checking..

To see if anyone is interested in continuing this little chat? I'm just getting warmed up and everyone disappears. I saw that one person was tied up with moving people and setting themselves on fire, but there was 2-3 other people posting and now it has gone silent. If it was because of my intrusion, just say so and I can exit as quickly as I entered, though perhaps without damaging the furniture this time.

Terribly sorry...

Still accepting players?

Hey, I was told about this game by Altaria she said that it includes dragons which is what I'm looking for. I hope you're still accepting players to this and hope I'm not too late. I've only just been told about this game, sorry.

Dragon soul,

Try the game thread called The Bleeding Lute it can be found in the Free Form section.

The lute is a free form game anyone can join. It centers around a Inn called the Bleeding Lute.  I posted a entrance of my own. If you would like to join, read what I posted there and respond. It’s simple. Just stick to your character and how you imagine he would be. The only rule is No God Moding, meaning no character is all powerful.

i look forward to seeing you in there. 😊

No forms?

There's no character sheets/forms to fill out?

Can you play as a dragon?

Yes, you can be a dragon.  If you read the latest post, which is mine, you will see that she is a Dragon.

I'll try and post a link here.  The Bleeding Lute

Read over my post and then come up with something you want to do.  Just remember, you only control your on character and can't do anything to another, you can state intentions, such as:  "I take a hard swing at him"  But you can't state that you hit him and knocked him out.  The other players decide if your action is successful.  As for your character, it is yours to control, just remember, there is no God moding, be your character and not all powerful.  Even Dragons can be slain.

Oh, one other note.. alot of people are in there anymore, just just assume if you enter that only my character, the woman described, is there along with the staff of the inn.

I read your act in the roleplay.

How would a pure dragon come into the RP? One that cannot shift into a human?

The greater metallic dragons , Gold, Silver, etc., can all assume human form. Most evil chromatic (Black, green, red, etc.) can not.  If you wanted to be a red dragon for instance, your visit the Inn would be a bad thing, it wouldn’t make for a good to as only fights can ensue.  So I probably wouldn’t recommend it. 😏

I've just never been into dragons that can shift into humans. I like to be pure dragons. I'll be a gold dragon that doesn't shift. He'll be hunting sheep or something outside the Inn in until you guys come out of the Inn and spot him, is that okay?

Well, you can certainly play your character as you like, though Golden dragons are the greatest and wisest of dragon kin, they are powerful and proficient with magic and that is how they change shape.  The chromatic dragons are evil and not as powerful in magic relying on brute force.

That being said, play your dragon how you wish, but if I may say, perhaps he can change shape but just refuses to most of the time.  Being a powerful dragon, he might feel he is above the lesser races such as humans, elves, etc., so he refuses to take their form.  Or, he could be a young Gold dragon; when they are very young they dont know all the magic and can't shift yet.  So he could be an adolescent dragon.  That's all up to you!  Just some thoughts.

As for his being outside, he would have to make his presence known  in order to get the attention of anyone within the Inn.   Currently, there are no other players in the inn, unless someone else’s decides to join us.

With all that to consider, I await your post. 😊
