Way I see it, channeling enough divine energy to disperse 8 undead is a hefty feat, one which takes a few moments to recover from. Moments we dont have.
So I went with what I thought was a logical course of action. Endure the results of the spell before attempting to surge forth and attack.
Hopefully this is alright.
Perhaps Danamar is better situated to hinder the shaman, by steel or spell.
It's short, but I like it. Cal will use a charge with his lance until that can't be done any longer. I get 3x on damage. Orion can attack but will only do this when the numbers of the undead get smaller. Then if something happens to the lance I will go with the light flail. I will try not to use any spells until i really need too.
..... for falling a bit behind on posting, but some Real Life issues had to be addressed before I could resume my gaming here!
Secondly, due to the delay I will take the liberty (within the context of the characters) to advance the sequence of this adventure within the framework of the Hobgoblin having the initiative.
Hopefully I will have the game thread written and posted later tonight if all goes according to plan!
However, amidst the shame at his inability a) to prevent the escape of their foe (clerical dogma) and b) to protect his comrade, Toraad may appear to be brooding when I get the post up.
But, nonetheless, he will be willing to pursue the missing caravan members.
that did not go the way I thought it would. I agree with T. O. get Rex healed and being a knight I need to see the mission thru to the end. But on the time to leave I think an early morning departure is my suggestion. The rain will slow them down and the wagon and raiders will leave an easy trail besides we need the rest.
