How about ...

..... the Tail which almost looks Cobra-like in the drawing?

Is it poisonous? Like a Pointy Sword? Or Just Plain Deadly like a Great Club?

well

the tail is both like a club and like a sword. It could slice you, or just knock you out.

Ubu isn't likely to sit.

Well, Khalessin is ready to go - posted and armed.

A quick question about organization. I am guessing that we will discuss possible choices here and then post on the other forum, correct?

Also, cdnflirt, I wouldn't be overly worried about slow posts so far. Far a lot of the time I wasn't sure exactly what to post. I'm sitting in a bar - while a lot of the story is interesting to read, the reunion and such don't involve me. There wasn't a lot to do yet. Anyway, I can see that as part of the posting issue. Hopefully we haven't lost anyone.

At the very least I'd love to think that they are all here for doggy duty.

To the group: So who knows about this little mission even? How'd they know to send the puppies after us?

answer...

Nobody knew to send them after you...if you read the post it says it was there in shock because of the fact that you guys didn't run and hide...but were wanting to fight. Lyra was already armed by the time the Hell Hounds seen the group...She was standing her ground against them.

Questions...

Could I cast teleport on one of these beasties? Am I in range?

I looked at the description for the spell and it said for range "Prsl". Does this mean personal?

Well then blast. I sort of answered my own question there. That would have been fun. Dropping them in the closest lake.

Doesn't help too much that my guy is a fire specialist lol.

Alright am I correct in the assumption that both have 4 hit die, yes?

Oh yes, is there a way that I could cast cloudkill and not affect other members of the group?

Only solution

The only way that would work is if the party ran far away, but then still that wouldn't work because yeah, then the air would still be terrible when they got back.

We all have more than 6 HD right?

Because we're all lvl 10 or greater.

So it wouldn't affect them would it?

Could i cast dispel magic to make it disappear?

I don't think...

...that dispel magic will work on the hounds, themselves (at least not to make them disappear, anyway). It would certainly have some effect on any magical attacks they might make (but, if any of our casters start slinging, it could also squish their spells, as well).

My pleasure...

Also, Hammer, I may have a 2e spell list somewhere... I'll see if i can't dig it up and send it your way.

Flirty, I'm assuming that these hounds are in the middle of the road, meaning that there's likely plenty of buildings etc that can be used as 'cover' and/or to 'circle around' and flank the cuddly li'l critters, right?
