action points. Each player gets 7 of them, you can only use one a turn on a d20 roll, you have to declare it before you roll, which will be easy because you just say it along with your post. All they are basically is points to add to your rolls, kind of like your "luck". They dont replenish until you level up, so use them carefully.

Action points, when added to the roll, increase the roll by 1d6, not point per point. And (so I seem to remember) you can traditionally only use one AP per d20 roll... No burning seven AP to try and make your diplomacy check a 50 so that the king's a fanatic.

But, of course, this is up to Jozan. This is just what I remember the rules being about them.

you can only use multiple action dice at higher level, and even then you only take the highest roll.

I actually probably won't have time for this game. Something's come up which has changed my availability.

so sad that you cant play. Does this mean that we will only continue on with a party of 5? I want to make sure you cant play first before we start anything on this. If you do drop, we'll start with 5, but ONE SLOT WILL BE OPEN at all times. once its filled, i'll work you into the game.
