moon clip

You have full moon (6) and half moon (3, one in every other slot) clips for revolvers. They are round with holes where you place the actual round and are real thin to fit into the small gap in between the cernterpiece of the revolver and the back of it. You may have been thinking of a banana clip which is the style of magazine that usually goes in a AK and is crescent shape.

Will get the pdf's mailed to you, have them downloaded already.

Replacement needed

In the light of YeOlde dropping out - I need someone to take his spot - either assuming the role of Brutal or as another character, preferably male. PM, or email or drop me a line here.

lost and found

I found some of the emails with your character so let me see what I have so we can fill in the blanks.

Thanks for the post - but you stopped abruptly. Are you taking this man to the table (where there is some privacy) or are you expecting him to whip out a viewer here at the bar where a lot of people can look over your shoulder? If you choose table - you better think quick on how to introduce your new friend and prevent your friends from calling you by your name. If you stay at the bar, you might spook him away.

There are always alternatives too ....

Just a note - Cathy is away this weekend with William and Veronica is at camp until Monday so you have some time to post.

Kane posted

Tann - I have posted Kane in this thread. Please look over it as I did your skills for you. if you want anything changed - let me know.

Your equipment was a bit high because you didn't include the cost of the quick release holsters. However, I assumed your pistol was the one item you carried over so that balanced your list.

Phil

I have updated Phil. So all I need is equipment from Cathy and I am good I think.

Suicidolt - you are allowed one item, handgun size or smaller that you have keep with you over time. Let me know what you's like. I went over your skills and they were fine. One thing - with a d2 Intelligence - I would say you can not read or write. You'd understand basic words you see often but you can't read a book. As well - you have high rifle skills but picked a machine gun as your weapon. Might want to look at that.

Welcome Sui!

And great starting posts, everyone!

My equipment list:

2 X Marakov pistols (50c)
Ammo for both - 4 mags of 6 (1c)
Basic outfit (4c)
Combat knife (2c)
Throwing Knives, set of 3 (3c)
notebook and pencil (priceless)

Left some credits left over to account for your price for ammo, and wanted to be sure I had proper belts, holsters and sheathes for the weapons. Anything she had left would be spent on stimulants, legal or otherwise.

Sorrry this reply took so long

I couldn't really think of what would be good for the gun-sized item, so I think I'm going to go more obscure. If this isn't ok, let me know or try to help me improvise something better.

a box of chocolate <---girls like chocolate, especially when it's hard to come by

And for the machine gun vs rifle, sorry, couldn't find any decent rifles in the list (I really didn't understand how to read it at the time. I'm definitely going to need your help on this one.

chocolate is good

Very obscure but a good choice. Maybe in a metal fancy container that has become very battered over time.

Rifle - Let's step away form the rules for a second. What type of gun do you see Phil carry? Is there a particular Modern rifle?

Love the chocolate tin idea

He isn't a picky person. Which is why I wanted him to be capable with any weapon. He is more or less ok with whatever's handy.

But, when it comes to picking out a weapon, he would go for whatever looks most intimidating. So he wouldn't be one to carry a "stock" gun.

He would have the "synthetic folding stock" the "banana clip" and all the quirks to make it look like a fiersome weapon.

Hope that helps.

Interruption from a lurker...

Sorry for the intrusion, folks but, y'know, I just can't ignore a conversation that involves rifles.

If it's something fearsome and bad@$$ that you're looking for, may I suggest the 'Verse equivalent of the Barrets 98 Bravo? Dig it!!!
I get all goose-bumpy and chicken-skinnedy just thinkin' about it!
