Murphy's Gremlins are in my computer! I tried to patch old technology to keep me up and running. Then I found out that there seems to be no such thing as "old technology patches" anymore. OMG 1. Mother-in-law almost got arrested for trying to cash frud money orders, that she got when excepting a job of line, when i told her not to. 2. close friend of family died, and the police are not releasing any info. 3. This happened the day we moved into our current house 1. We left in car to drive Veronica to daycare before starting the move - got a flat tire. 2. I got out of car to walk Veronica the rest of the way to daycare while Al fixed the flat - she forgot to put on shoes and I had to carry her. 3. At the end of a really long day (never move out of downtown Toronto during the World Cup), we discovered that we'd moved bags of trash and left bags of clothes on the curb at the old place. Just recently ... During a heart check, a 95% blockage of the Left Anterior Descending artery was found (supplies blood to the heart muscle and is called the Widowmaker Vein). Immediate catheterization surgery to implant stent and open blockage, thereby preventing an imminent heart attack (did I mention I hate doctors?). Nah! The fact that I can complain simply means I have the energy to waste on it. So I don't have one foot in the grave yet ... a win? Not going for that. Just adding a one of my bad days to the mix.
