yep

Definitely a lot of potential!

I have reservations on every single department head spot. For those of you who need to still flesh out your characters, do so.

If you haven't sent me anything concrete, please at least send me a character name, species, gender so that I can stub out the roster.

I hope to begin actual game posting by early next week.

Looks like a busy weekend......

Thanks boss for chance to join....
I was thinking of naming my character Randolf Andrews or better known to his friends as Randy Andy.....

But that might not work so good for a Security Officer.

I'll work on the character basics this weekend.
Not a lot of time to over think or get too cute with it all.
I guess I'll learn as I go. My gut is going with a human and he's a desendent of my character from Rogers Castle Rautenbur game. From a line of servicemen, but not for the reason of family tradition, they all have just has a personal sense of honor and commitment. There is also a long tradition in the Reid family of Law and Order.

It didn't come out in the other story but there are a couple of famous Reids it the family that have stood for right. (Anyone guess who they are?)

Busy Weekend Indeed

Just wanted to say thanks as well.

The concept for my Helmsman has been PM'd. Will work at sorting out the NPC roster in the next little while.

Cheers!

A Challenge....

Truth be told, I'm a bit concerned jumping into this game. I need to do a bunch more research to cover the "Duties" of the character. I would think that the roles and responsabilies of a "Cheif of Security" would be fairly black and white, the carrying out of those is what makes the story.

As he seems to "Report" to Eol's character maybe I could get some guidance there "Old Buddy"? This is your second mission? So maybe a little help would be in order.

I should we make John new to the assignment so there is no history on board yet? I was thinking of having a bit of a "foggy" record on John's service. His records sort of being "Sanitized". That leaves more room for "rumores".

Reporting to Eol's character...

...could be hazardous to the back of one's head.

No worries, Ody. If you (or anyone else for that matter) need some help or guidance or whatever, just give me a shout. I am here to help, after all.

character interactions

I already had in mind some 'interactions' between my character and several of the others. Should be fun!

Hehehe....

...you'll likely be seeing quite a bit of Mac (or, at least, requesting he make appointments, anyway). Discovery's counselors have always seemed to have an interest in the CTO's anger issues... and Medical is always trying to get him on blood pressure meds.

Mac

oh Mac is on the top of my list already. She has been perusing the ships personnel counselor records and Mac came right to the top.

Anger Management Issues.....

Oh I can see some "Interesting" interaction already. There are reasons to "Sanitize" Service Records. It is always a good thing to keep the guy on your 6 on your good side.

I recall...

From the first one how Mac is

Mac and Leiran are almost opposites in that sense. Mac's officers bet on who he's going to whack first, Leiran's officers are trying to figure out why she never gets angry. And think she's odd.

But if you know me, you know all my characters are odd. It's just a Reralae-quirk

Back from trip

Howdy peeps,

Just got in from being out of town for the weekend; I'm about to start filling in my character's bio; should be ready by tonight.

Just a preview: Jesse Graham is from west Texas, and will be perhaps the 24th century's last cowboy. His family has been ranchers for generations, and in fact still runs one. He grew up doing all the things ranchers have done for generations, as his family prides itself on upholding tradition: herding cattle, spending more time on horseback than not, living off the land, getting satisfaction from the great outdoors, and living by the cowboy's code of honor and ethics.

It's perhaps his love of the outdoors that drew his attention to the stars from early on, and while he eventually went to Starfleet Academy, graduated at the top of his class, and has so far had a distinguished career in Starfleet, he's still a cowboy at heart.

I think he will be a unique addition to the crew, and I look forward to his interactions with all of you.

Anxiously anticipating those two awesome words...GAME ON.

Starting

Glad to see people working on their characters. I am so 'psyched' (get it? ) to start this game.

Working on my starting post now. Hope it comes out to be a good one.
