I took the liberty to assign ranks to the senior officers, feel free to incorporate this information into your character build

I'm interested but frustrated with putting work into character creation then waiting weeks to be told the game is full. I need to write sci fi these days to distract myself with fun between job hunting and psychological crap. I write females, preferably human, Bajoran, Betazoid or some mixture, and can write anything. But, this is my last attempt in trying to get into a Star Trek story rp in these forums because I'm trying to get into a stable writing team instead of a lot of planning leading to nothing.

Med or Counselor would be preferred, I can write Helm or Science Officer too, whatever is needed.

Chief science officer is wide open, with the added benefit of being the 2nd officer, and the department head of the largest department. Send me a write up, I'm hoping we'll have enough players by next week to get started.

I've got my Chief Tactical Officer, and Chief Science Officer, I'm waiting for write ups for Chief Engineer, and Executive Officer.  Plenty of positions available, all offices have junior officers and crewmen, all the fun, none of the responsibility.

In your first post or two, you have the positions listed that you are recruting for.  Maybe put the names of players who are accepted for those concepts, so that your public can see what is still available.

So you know...

Lt. Roseangela McGinty has been aboard for a week.  She can be found at any Science Station or Lab aboard, a rare even tempered red-head (thanks possibly to having grown up around a lot of Betazoids as a child) but with the classic beauty of a Gaelic dream. She'll be at a Science-related study, usually a half hour or more early before, or late after a shift; Betazoid Folk Songs or Dixieland jazz music playing in the background and oft' preceeding the vision of her studying something enthusiastically and humming along to herself (ever the space lover). She's easy to approach as long as you come in peace.

An officer who is from a traditional staff officer position can still be part of the chain of command - see Deeana Troi in TNG.  They need to have completed command training; your CSO should include that as part of their background.   

Perhaps they did that specifically for a ship like this.

We did this back with the Discovery; our Chief Engineer completed command training and became our second officer, eventually became Captain of his own ship.

Question: You have my character listed as Chief Flight Control Officer, which has no information in it. And then an empty spot below it, where the bio information is, but no Title.Don't now if that's a glitch, or if I need to transfer my data to the first link or what...
