Could my character be renting a room in that house off Tomb Street.

You could be renting a place in one of the houses along any street as long as the house is numbered or you could rent from one of the inns (The white Deer is right there at tomb street and the north entrance)

Alright .. I am going to continue with the posts for Runelords. We have 3 committed characters and maybe more will join later but it will be fine to continue at this point. I am creating a Thread for combat specifically. It will be Called Runelords Combat Log and we will use it to hash out our combats. The forum doesn't lend itself to combat well but I think I may have a system that might work. I will post the details at the start of the combat thread.

could i play a human fighter

in the combat i dont get how to write your attack roll and then damage?

When you get to the combat part . roll your attack .. use any modifiers .. and write the attack followed by the dmg including any modifiers

So if my BAB was +2 and my str was +3 and I had bless +1

A roll of say 14

I would write 20 (14+2+3+1) for my attack

If I wield a longsword (dmg 1d8 ) and roll a 6

I would write down my dmg as 9 (6 + 3) (Str Mod)

To post I would use the format atk|dmg

So I would write atk goblin; 20|9 (or something like this)

I hope this clears it up .. if not write down specifically what is still confusing and I will elaborate more

i have a double ended orc axe do i post say, 12/12 dmg 12?

You would want to use the format 12/13|2/4 meaning first swing attack was 12 for 2 dmg and second swing attack was 13 for 4 dmg

I'm not sure if this came up .. but starting gold should have been 120 gold for spending on starting goodies ..
