the SHINY thing

I would have posted yesterday, but I had a pretty close call in the morning, and it left me shaken up for the rest of the day.I may or may not be able to post tonight or tomorrow, and as always, the weekends are right out as long as the RenFest is still going. That means you still have two more weekends to put up with this nonsense. Also, any of you living close enough that a weekend trip to the Houston area is plausible should come down and see me. I'll gladly give out a crewman's discount to anyone on the ship.

So that you all know. I am around I just have nobody to write with and can't push the plot too far forward because then I will still be stuck with nothing to do as I wait for backposters so...I sit twiddling my thumbs.

In all honesty, I'm hit or miss this time of year. With all of the family in the are there are a lot of get togethers, plus my wife wants to take me Christmas shopping, I usually get plied with a lot of art requests, and work intensifies as everyone wants their site built before the Holidays.

I did, however, take the liverty granted Senior Officers, to move the plot on a bit. Feel free to back post as necessary, and I purposefully left the bridge assignments (and those positions) available in case people wanted to fill them.

Now, on to another order of business... anyone interested in posting for "the other side"? I'll be throwing up a post or seven from Ian's perspective in the coming days and, of course, we'll need some others on the BTF side of the house and I'd really rather not NPC the entire cell - cuz I'm lazy! Anyhoo, if nothing else, it's a chance for someone (or several someones) to put on a new character for a while... Lemme know if you're interested.

Wow! If I had known I wold have made a list, checked it twice and sent it off before the holiday deadline!



What other side are you talking about Rob? The Discovery hasn't moved in so long I have forgotten where we are.

...I was hoping to get a few members of the BTF "terrorist cell" to do some posts. There will definitely be some posts from Ian's perspective and I was also hoping to get another couple of BTF operatives in the mix, so to speak.

Also, if there's anyone out there who wants to "take a whack" at playing Mac's errant brother, there's room for discussion there...

Don't you think? I mean, if I were to take on Ian. Though it'd be carrying on a trend... I don't think I have the time right now though it is intriguing.

This is why when we begin the new ST game I am soooo writing a character who actually has an important role this way I get to write more often.

Got some more stuff in the works, Av... Posts from the Speedwell, posts from the Bridge, posts from the Holodeck... I've got all kinds of snippets that just need to be polished off... thing is, I've been crawling around in these Jefferies Tubes for so long that I forget where I am and have started to feel oddly like a stow-away racoolemur in some enormous, interstellar habitrail set.

*blink-blink* Wow! I need coffee...
