He moved closer to her, and their faces touched. He loved this woman...but it was for much more than just the beauty on the outside, like he sensed so many others had before.

Their lips touched...

Dawn nearly shocked herself in surprise. Luckily, she controlled it and kissed him back.

He did nothing...and it was all in her hands from that point on. She pushed him back against the sink as they fell deeper and deeper in love.

He was happy. For a single moment in what had been a bleak and misserable existance, he was content beyond reason.

He couldn't breathe...but not out of injury or fear, but simply for the fact that she had stolen the breath from him. They kept kissing, each moment lasting a wonderful eternity.

Dawn pulled away for a second. "I love you Adrian..." She whispered. Her hair framed her face in an almost white veil, making her look angelic.

All he could do was stare at her. But his stare said enough. What did she see in him? Had he not tried to kill her? That was all in the past...he was her's now...they were bonded to each other.

He opened his mouth to say something, but she kissed him again, this time, they both slid to the floor.

Dawn felt her usual cover-up slip away as she kissed him. Not long ago, he was just a distanced friend. Now... what were they?

They had transcended friendship in only the course of some thrity minutes...maybe a quarter of an hour at most. An yet, now they lay on the floor as a friends washroom, tangled in each other. Feeling so much, but understanding so little.

It was magical.

He ran a hand across her shoulder.

Dawn shivered and sighed happily. But something was gnawing at her: what if this had been any of the other guys?

He stopped. He sensed something troubling her. He loved her, and he wanted this, but he would not continue if she refused

"What is it?"

"What if you were Donald, or Edward, or Algus? How easy would it have been for one of them to have taken me away?" Dawn looked away from him.

He didn't understand.

"Kidnapped you?" Part of him still thought like the young teenager he once was.

He wasn't any of the others...what bothered her about this, unless she felt this wasn't right. He grew afraid.

Dawn smiled. "As in doing something like this." Her eyes closed a bit.

"Then it would have been them I suppose...what worries you?"

He started to wonder what Donald was thinking about all the noise they'd been making, and how long they'd been alone.

"Just if I would feel the same about one of them. But I know that I wouldn't." Dawn put a hand under his chin. "Okay?"

He wasn't all sure if he was okay. He'd been shaken by her comment. She had thought about the others...but they loved each other, and she had said it with her own mouth. He shook the thought from his head, realzing the absurdity of it.

"Fine."

But he did not continue where he had left off, he felt it was awkward to simply dive back into something so intimate as that. He waited to see what she would do.
