Well, here's the eraser. I had them freshly cleaned so it should take the names right off. I'm willing to overlook some of them, but any redshirts must go!

Olan's return and the movie thread got me thinking about this and how much I liked my character... I was seriously considering throwing down a post and seeing if anyone took the bait. Count Arevaci in.

I had this funny idea of a Star trek scene in my mind yesterday that I thought I would share.

A pan shot of a Borg Vessel, zooming into to the ship and inside the interior. Hundreds and hundreds of rows of Borg lined up in their stalls, connected to the Borg Collective.

The scene turns to a part of the ship where three Borg are dragging the limp body of Lt. Bob N’doog to the processing centre to be assimilated. They roughly toss him into a stall and clamp a probe onto his head that starts to wire into his brain.

The three Borg looks on impassively, then one of them turns to the other and says, “Dude.”

The Borg replies “Dude.”

The rows and rows of Borg all start sounding off.

“Dude!”
“Dude!”
“Dude!”
“Dude!”
“Dude!”
“Dude!”
“Dude!”
“Dude!”
“Dude!”
“Dude!”
“Dude!”

Bob opens his eyes and looks around. With some effort he pulls his hand out from the restrain and touches his communicator. ‘Yo! Captaindude! No problemo in the collecto, dude-o. Didn’t have to fire a shot.”

Bob looks to the Borg near him, “Hey dude! Give a man a hand!”

Well played, sir. What a hilarious scenario.

Come December-January, I'm fully ready to resume the role of first officer of the Discovery.

I have Jonesed for some time to bring Discovery back. right now, though, eol is looking to launch Cerberus.

how's about we see how it takes off, and if there is raging interest at some point after the first of the year, we'll bring the ol' Galaxy class back?

If I can scrape together the time, I'd love to get in on that. We'll see how things go in the next couple of weeks.

We won't be coming back until sometime in January at the earliest.

Right now, let's stay out of Cerberus' way. If it goes well, and there is interest, we'll try to bring back Discovery then.

*hops in, jumping up and down and hooting unintelligently*
