Right, then!

And would love to have you as Marlowe, as well, Celeste... you did a fantastic job with him in what I've already read.

Well now...

...that depends. If Lady D has truly vanished you might want to look at taking up the role of Lyri... she looked as if she might be fun.

Oooooor.... you could go with a "from scratch" kind of thing, put together a new character, background, etc, and away we go.

Hmm

I've never been comfortable wearing the clothes of others. I'd prefer to do my own thing.

Narrowing it down will be the challenge.

Okay...

...so here's what I know for sure:

  • Celeste is on board as the lovely Saercyn Willow and will be taking up the character of Marlow, as well (along with whatever other fascinating NPCs she might just brew up).
  • T_O will be reprising Khash (best first mate onna seas) and an assorment of NPCs of his own.
  • Chess will be returning as Askurt Maast, our master gunner...and...we'll see who/what else.
  • I'm in, of course, as your Cap'n and various other salts, swabs, and scurvy sea dogs...
  • We've got Kriea on board (YAY!) as a rather downtrodden young lad by the name of Jesse who's lookin' ta find a way outta Freeport, it seems. I also have very little doubt that she'll not be long in fleshing out some NPCs of her own before long.
  • Have pinged both Meri and Lady D regarding Davi and Lyri but haven't heard from either, as yet. Still hopeful.
  • RP Noob has left the Inn for personal reasons and, as such, likely won't be reprising Asim.
  • Dragonblood and The Haruspex, too, have vanished from the Inn again and it's doubtful we'll be seeing either of them.

That gives us 5 for sure... possibly 7 depending on replies from Meri and Lady D... how are we, crew, as far as setting sail as is? Good with it or should I toss a recruitment thread out?

Not to intrude

But I've been reading the story and I really hope you throw a recruitment thread out

so... I updated...

Just finishing loose ends. A collaboration...with meself. I've had this mostly written up for a couple of months now. It was going to be between Lady D and I, but for the moment (at least, until she surfaces), I choose to NPC her character a little bit. Lyri can fade into the general crew background until she resurfaces again. ^_^

I have here DB's bio of Marlow ~ I'll be editing it *very little* (because, well, we all are jumping into another person's skin with characters anyway), and I'll be coming up with his brother's, Baudoin (I've renamed him from Alistair, since he hasn't made an appearance yet), bio.

awwww

Thanks, Kriea! *ka-huggles!*

So... got your tricorn and blunderbuss out of storage yet? Mayhaps revive yer little birdie and fill the grog bottle?

PS ~ My mum gave me the "Pirate Primer" for Christmas this year ~ I can't wait to cook up a few salty NPCs and bust out some of the colorful language in it!

*grins*

Yay for postiness!

The day got away from me yesterday but I do have a post of my own in the works and should have it ready to fly in just a bit...

...also, received a very nifty concept from Innmate Jenna, yesterday, and pending a PM or two, she should be bringing on a very nifty character of her own... soooo, you know, welcomes and facelicks to Jenna.

Funny you should mention that...

I've been brushing up on my maritime slang and reminding my brain the names of ship parts.

It really is making me miss sleeping at sea though. Hard to NOT sleep well when rocked to sleep by mother nature herself. *yawn* or maybe I'm just sleepy. Was kept up too late and woken up too early.

I can't wait to get poor Jesse mixed up with this crew. Poor boy'll be driven daft by the first morning.
