"It was a filling meal...", he lied again, yet he hid a joke in there as well. Dawn smiled meekly...Donald knew just what happened between them, Adrian just feared he would try to feel it too...he tried to sheild his mind, but was too distracted.

"it's not complicated. You went through years of puberty in two minutes."

Donald tried to act nonchalant, but he'd like nothing more than to beat in Adrian's face. He was fairly certain he knew it, too.

He could feel the hostility. He deserved it. He had only been around for some four minutes like this, and Dawn loved him. He pretty much stole her from Donald, and he felt bad, almost to the point of letting him have her...but he loved her too much.

He stopped joking. Donald clearly wasn't in the mood. At least he hadn't entered Adrians mind.

Dawn frowned. 'Men.' She thought. They were being so idiotic...

He felt the comment in Dawns mind...

'Watch it...I can hear you', he said jokingly, then he continued,'you get the drift he wants to beat the living crap out of me?'

Donald finished the joint in silence, and then walked over and liberated a cigarette from Edward's pack.

"I'm going out."

He walked around the school, looking at the ruins where he had fought his brother.

Today couldn't have happened. It all happened so fast.

'Yeah. He'll get over it.' Dawn smiled at him. "Let's meet Daddy."

He was worried about Donald...he had betrayed Donald...stolen a chance at love perhaps?

He was eager to escape the room, and yet he hoped Jacobi wouldn't be waiting for him around any corners.

"I have a question," he said, as they worked their way to the central structure, "did Jacobi know who I was?"

It was still dark. He sat alone, smoking his cigarette. He kept replaying the day in his head.

Brother alive...start liking a girl...die for man...come back for girl...man sleeps with girl...one hell of a thank you.

He didn't think it was possible to screwed over that hard, that repeatedly withint 24 hours. He took a walk back towards his room, deciding to look over his schedule.

Maybe the classes would keep his mind off of things.

Jacobi put a hand on Adrian's shoulder from behind. "Yup, he does." Dawn glared at her brother and frowned again.

'F**k...', he thought. He wasn't going to fight Jacobi. It wasn't that he couldn't beat him, it was that he refused to hurt family of Dawn's...no matter how much they had hurt him.

He said nothing...he was about to apoligize for sending him memory of his climax, but he realized that would be stupid. Then he almost said sorry for sleeping with Dawn, then he realized that would be even worse. Dawn was old enought to make her own choices.

He was still quiet, still not looking at Jacobi. He was still facing the other direction, wonderign what the man was going to do to him...

Donald kept walking around. He saw Dawn and Adrian, and went to walk away, but that's when Jacobi came up, and he knew everything.

I shouldn't do anything...I should let them get twhat's coming...damnit why don't I listen to myself...

Donald walked up behind Jacobi.

"You know, I bet you'd find yourself a lot happier if you'd just get your head out of your ass and stop talking down the Dawn like she's four."

He was heartened by Donalds arrival, but he knew he only did it for Dawn...he had no care what happened to Adrian anymore.

What had happened to the old Donald. Only a few hours before, he had been begging them, almost, to do something with each other, and now he hated Adrian for it.

Jacobi growled deep in his throat. "At least he can control more than MUD." He hissed. Dawn looked at him, eyes wide.

Donald took everything out on Jacobi.

"You're so absorbed into your self centeredness, that you never believe anyone should do what they want unless it benefits you. Well, get over it! She's got her own life, and like it or not, she won't let anyone else run it."

He blew a smokescreen into Jacobi's face, and then walked in the opposite direction.
