I'm heading out for the night. I'll be on late tonight possibly. Shoot me a PM though with what you need. Or try to get ahold of Ayrn. He has the book.

another one bites the dust

Jozan's character is in and I'm just waiting on one small clafication. Tann's should be polished up this weekend, and if Grugg can stay on schedule we should be starting Monday. I'll do part two of the intro trilogy this weekend as a teaser.

Ayrn Question

How do you know I am no longer playing a Psyker, that was only one of the choices I was looking at.
Do you have my Comp bugged or what your starting to scare me a little....

(Got to hide my women's underware...)

A little DM told me...

In fact, Addy posted that you were planning on playing a Scum instead of the Psyker.

No secret powers, I'm afraid. Unless, the ability to notice the obvious counts as special.

Who told Ad??

I was going to but what I wanted was impossible at first LvL and likely to get me killed rather quickly so I went with my second choice, as my first choice, a Space Marine was a no go.
Something about being too powerful, HUH a lil ole Space Marine oh come on now

Last post on page 3, man.

"After some discussion, he'll be playing a scum with some military flavour."

Seeing as I, personally, have no idea about anything regarding the WH40k universe, I suspect your secret is still pretty safe.

Grugg: I know, I know, man... no psyker. When I read Addy's post too, I thought about scrapping my Arbitrator too and going with the psyker. I don't know though... while cool, psykic powers are nifty, the chance of very bad things happening are high too. Almost as bad as playing a sorcerer at 1st level... maybe worse.

psykers

After you read the second part of the introduction, you will no longer want to play a psyker

Besides, at low levels psykers are HORRIBLE. I've played one. The same session I was *finally* able to cast the cool abilities (rank 3) I botched a power and became possessed by a daemon and killed the whole party, after which I was hunted and slaughtered by a group of Grey Knights.

Oh yea, did I mention psykers kill the party often? I would wager that in my tabletop group, 70% of our fate has been spent surviving psyker mishaps.

Until Rank 3, they are way overrated, sort of like wizards until they get 3rd level spells.

(edit: fixed the first sentence of the second intro.)

Agreed

The more I read up on the psyker, the worse it sounds. And now that it has been revealed that our employer is a blank...
