I'm just worried that because of my lack of understanding, I'll make my character do something she can't do and mess up the game.

That's alright dragon. If you try something you can't do you can revise or just lose a turn or something. It won't be the end of the world. I'm new to this system too, but Giddy can help us through the first learning stages

Dragon_soul... as far as your sheet goes, you're probably going to want to pay the most attention to the tab labeled "Weaves" since you're playing a wilder... Those are the spells you have learned. Beyond that, play to what you think your character would do, how she would react in a given situation, etc, and don't worry too much about the stats and such... As Brom said, Giddy will worry about any dice rolls that need to be made.

Don't let the "complexity" get you frustrated and, if it does, don't be afraid to reach out and ask a question or two. I'm sure that any and all of us would be more than happy to help you out.

I just don't want to keep asking question after question and annoy you lol.
I'm used to FAR simpler freeform, story driven, dice and stat free roleplays! XD

Where is the tab?

The doc Giddy sent you with your character sheet info. Check the top of the spreadsheet and the bottom for all of the different tabs with your different character info--when I open it on my phone, the tabs are at the top, when I use google docs, they're on the bottom.

RIGHT at the bottom! Didn't scroll down that far lol! XD

The One Power tab should show you how many weaves you have of each level each day and what your blocks and extra affinities are, and the Weave tab should show you which weaves you know and can cast.
