Dawn ran into someone and nearly fell, but they caught her. "You okay?" That voice...
"Eli!" Dawn hugged her friend.

'I can pretty much blame this crap on myself.'

Donald was now so harsh with Dawn because Adrian had moved in. Donald figured he didn't have much of a chance with her, when he didn;t know the half of it. It made him mad to see him treat her like that, but he knew Donald was a blunt person, a trait he respected. Not enough people in this world can just just tell it as it is, Donald was one of the few.

Eli laughed. "Dude, where are you going?"
Dawn smiled. "Class."

He was fairly tall, attractive, muscular in the upper body, but lacking lower physique. Adrian only had time to glance at him before Dawn spun around and glanced down the hall.

'Is she expecting someone?' he thought to himself.

"Eli huh. While I'm in here" he said to her, "would you mind telling me a little about yourself. How'd you meet this fellow?"

'He's my body gaurd from birth, but he's also my best friend.' Dawn turned back to Eli and grabbed his hand. "Come on!"

Donald rounded the corner just in time to see Dawn and some guy disappear around another corner. He shrugged and kept his own pace.

At least she has friends she can hang out with. She'll be fine.

"Don't I have a right to know where the hell we're going. I can't really leave you...I've been cememnted into you..."

She didn't answer, just ran. What was she up to now.

Eli was surprised, but kept pace. He wondered what she was doing, but said nothing.

Donald hoped he was close to class. He lit another cigarette, inhaling his nicotine as he kept walking. Where's Edward, he wondered. He decided he didn't care about much anymore, and he looked out a window. He thought about leaving, just forgetting all this and going out into the wild, living with Earth. Or in jail. Either one was better than this now.

Dawn stopped at the classroom and Eli ran into her. They both grinned though.
"I'm glad you came. All my other friends aren't happy with me right now." She confessed.

"I'm fine with you right now!"

He felt like she wasn't paying attention to the voice in her head. Maybe he wasn't a friend. If he wasn't a friend, what was he?

Eli smiled. "Who could ever not like you?"
Dawn blushed. "Them."

"Fine, if your gonna act like I'm not here, I guess I'll just shut up. Couldn't do any more harm than I've alreay caused."

He huffed and silenced himself, waiting to see if he'd get a reply out of her.

'Adrian! Don't be jealous!' Dawn wanted to frown, but Eli was making her too happy.

"Gah!", he was quiet for a while.

"Jealous of what? If you want to go running around with all your friends, you be my guest."
