wow

Apparently, this mapping tool is trickier than I originally thought. Because I gave Kaylena darkvision as standard (because you have to manually switch between them) the tool also gave her low light-vision. The room should be more shadowy than it actually appears to be, but because of Kaylena's low light-vision we can't see it on the map unless I switch it back to normal.

This means I need to be constantly switching back and forth between darkvision and normal-vision, because Kaylena only gets this bonus while in shadow (which she, partially, is). Remind me not to allow another character with situational vision

I'll fix the map soon, so that it includes a normal-vision version of what you guys should see (or not).

EDIT: Apparently, I was wrong again. I had the chandalier set to wrong lightsource. It's fixed now, and all is so much simpler.

vision

I have darkvision normally from being a shadowcaster, it just gets a lot better when I'm in shadow. I'd say just leave it set to normal vision most of the time so that we all know what the situation is, but I'm not sure how often the alternate visions will impact things map-wise.

yeah

The problem wasn't the darkvision, but rather the crappy lightsource that messed with things. So you'll keep your standard darkvision and now all is fixed (until I hit another problem with the tool)

Alrighty

We now have six characters accepted and all six players should be able to post now. If for some reason you can't, let me know so I can get it fixed.

Also, Red team, I recommend you have a look at Dragon Mistress' character sheet and see in how good hands you are

FYI

For the sake of avoiding confusion Miliani tries to change as little as possible about her appearance. So at the point of discovery she looks much like a sun elf only with red skin that has a sheen to it. On closer inspection you will find it looks much like snake skin. Her wings and tail are gone for the sake of convenience of travel. Miliani is worried with all the falling rocks that they might get damaged or hurt. She is particularly fond of these two aspects of her body and takes extra special care of them.

I will do my very best for the sake of role playing to mention when ever there is a change in her appearance. I just figured that a point of reference would be helpful because her shifting can get confusing.

Discription

I was wondering, Dragon Mistress, what your character looked like?

Aurora

Description:

Tall, 5'11" fair complexion, silvery gold hair, Pale silvery gold eyes, ringed with a darker silver. She is muscular, without being muscle bound. She moves like a warrior, with confidence and without cockiness. There is something about her that seems radiants an otherness about her and an unmistakeable Aura of Good.

Update

I have updated. I'll add the maps later today.

Savrit, Miliani scored 31 on the binder check. So, yay.

EDIT: Maps added

Not a Pentagram

Just so everyone is clear, a binder is not demonic in nature. The symbols that she draws are different for each vestige she summons. They most resemble a cross of Norse tribal art and possibly Egyptian in nature.

The summoning is definitely a unique sight however and I can understand ones trepidation when encountering it. If it were a symbol as widely know as a pentagram I will be sure to specify it in my post in the future.

Okay...

Just going to confirm this, but which image is the guard? I saw many images, and didn't know if it was the ones that had the same pic, or if it was the skull like image that was partially obscured by the wall. A bit of clarification, then I can get my post in.

Oh, and one little thing about David which I realized....

It says his will save is:

WILL: 4 + 2 = 2

I think this was an error on my part... it should be 6.

dun-dun-duuuunnn!

It was the partially obscured one, the others are all in cells which kinda rules them out.

As for your miscalculations, it is too late to be changing anything now or making any fixes. You'll just have to deal.

Nah, I kid

I'll fix it in a jiffy.

invis

So my invisibility doesn't concern you guys at all? Nor the lights' dimming? hmm. I'm not sure how she'll react if none of her obfuscation has any effect.

oh!

Sorry for the lack of update today, my computer is going through some heavy work and slowing other things down considerably. The update will probably come later tonight, and the maps won't come up until some time tomorrow. So stay tuned everybody

Update

The update's in (finally). Again, sorry for not getting it done sooner.

I will get the maps done tomorrow, probably. Until then, feel free to ask questions and stuff if there is something you didn't understand in the update.
