"Magic." Dawn held out her hand. "Need some help?"

"Ohhhh, okay. That's what I get for coming into a school full of it. I guess I'd better grow accustomed to it." Donald accepted her hand and was pulled to his feet. He looked down and groaned.

His pipe had been shattered, slipping out of his pocket as he fell. He felt angry at the boy who attacked him. That was a gift from his brother, the same brother that was stabbed to death by a group of men trying to get to him. He now blamed Adrian for his brother's death.

Calm down, calm down, calm down...

He punched the wall next to him. He felt his knuckles split, and he regretted that action. Too late to worry now. He applied pressure with his shirt until the bleeding stopped.

Oh great, now I have bloodstains on my shirt. This is turning out to be a crappy day.

Dawn sighed and grabbed his hand. She kissed it and his knuckles healed.

Donald looked at his knuckles, and was shocked. They felt even better than before! He grew embarrassed, and laughed at himself. "Sorry about that. It was just...special to me."

"I understand." She smiled. "Sorry, but I can't fix it."

"It's alright. So are we still going to go see the headmaster?" Donald slid the shards of glass closer to the wall, and said a mental farewell to his brother. And now it was time to move on.

"No." Dawn froze and looked behind her. Jacobi glared at her, and Donald. "Dawn, Father isn't going to like this."

Donald didn't like the sound of the voice behind them. He turned and saw a man that looking strikingly similar to Dawn, but with a cruel edge. He really hoped nobody searched him right now. By the look on Dawn's face, this wasn't a good situation.

"Jacobi, you aren't my boss." Dawn stood up as tall as she could. "So go away."
He blinked and frowned. "Be glad I'm tired." He hissed and stalked off. Dawn sighed in relief.

Donald breathed a heavy sigh. That was close. "Sorry if I'm bugging you, but I'm sticking with you for a bit. I have no clue where anything is in here."

"It's okay. But I need to go to my dorm to see if my stuff got here. Wanna come?"

"Why not? Maybe it'll help me find mine." Donald opened his guitar case to make sure it was okay. When he noticed it was in perfect condition still, he performed a victory dance inside his head. He did a lot in his head.

Dawn headed to her dorm and opened. She smiled when she saw her stuff and checked in all her suitcases but one.

While Dawn checked her stuff, Donald had walked into a corner and began fishing things out of his pocket. He moved his fingers quickly and with dexterity, and slid something behind his ear when he was finished, covering it with his long hair. He turned around and asked, "You all done here?"

"Almost." Dawn picked her unopened bag and sat it on her bed. "Let's go."
