Of course he's mad. Only a madman would try to kill off the whole council at once. One, two maybe. But the whole lot, with the king included? We'll be hard pushed for sure.

Taking into account the busy work week and the young girl's birthday (best wishes!) I shall postpone my update to Monday to allow for some extra time for speed and Raven to post. Also, Reep, if you want to post a response to Volke's answers, that's cool too.

From now on, and I don't know if I mentioned this earlier, I would like to be posting on Saturdays for a weekly update, if that's okay with everyone.

I've got a crazy week a head of me. I likely won't post before Monday night, but assume that Jinnie is fine with the arrangement. I'll try to post something up between Monday and Saturday.

Whisper's not "out," of course... just his "personality" showing through in his reaction, there... Once he gets past the "that man has got to be insane" bit he'll likely start to think along the "okay... we can make this work... ought to be quite the challenging hunt" bit.

There you go Eol. Somewhat better terms of agreement? A little negotiation can be helpful even with the bad ass evil dudes it seems.

Whisper's "issue" wasn't so much the payment, though, as it was the time frame. Less than two months to kill 9 high-ranking fairly public figures... and one of them the King??? It could take that long to learn the habits and patterns of a single mark and then to plan and carry out the actual assassination could take another good bit of time... it's not as if these are the type of marks that you may just randomly bump into on the streets of the city and go; "Hey! Fancy meeting you here!" *stabstabkillkill*

It will be hard to know how they act and opperate AND find time to assassinate them in under a month, however we've got to rangers in the group so tracking them down should be easy enough (hopefully). The big problems on the list seem to be the king, first and foremost, though a few others on the list stand out as rather dangerous. Still it's doable, the only hitch is doing it without causing the others we havn't killed yet to go on high alert.

One we can probably kill without alerting the rest of them that much. After the 2nd it's quite obvious we're after the council. That's when things become really hard.

Btw. Will there be another post by our dear DM next or how do we move on?

I was just leaving the door open in case there were more concerns.

I'm probably going to be unable to post until next Friday, because of a trip I'm going on, so you can expect any reply from me be late this week.
