It will start as all good adventures start - in a tavern.

We all know each other from our recent caravan duty but other then that we are not really friends, except Wan and I, and have never worked together as a "party" before correct??

You didn't know each other when you joined the caravan but you have travelled through the Pass together guarding said caravan and defending it when the Cruniak attacked.you successfully made it to the destination(Sundel) where the caravan leaders told the city officials of the attack. The mayor has then posted a hefty reward for adventurers to seek out and find the lair of this evil creatures and eliminate them.

So you all will "know" each other in that you have fought together, lived on the road together and relied on each other for the past week. So you will know each other by name, appreciate each other's fighting style and have a general sense of who does what (This Khord is good in battle, the other heals).

Still have not found a suitable photo of a Silver Haired and Silver Bearded Khord (Dwarf)

My point then is this as caravan guards we were under the command of the Cavarn master and though we have fought together it was under his leadership. This will be the first time we will be working together without that leadership so we need to pick a party leader who has final say in case of a stalemate on what the party should do correct?

Why must we muck up the waters with leadership? The quest is clear. the ranger tracks, the wizard cast spells, the fighters fight...

Okay peeps - who thinks that leadership has to be established in a d&d game?

As both a DM here and a player when you don't have a clear leader the story and game slows down with everyone trying to push thier idea's as the right way to go.

Look at CWWLLO Al the leadership flipped between Olan and Brom and though it still slowed the game we at least had that to keep the party on track. Just saying is all.

I would say Cwwllo died because a leadership was established and when Arien stopped posting everyone stopped as well saying they needed see what the leader was doing.

But let's hear from the others? I'm open to suggestion.
