Anyway, let's get this game back on track before it stalls and we don't make it out of the first room.

Philosopher, a couple questions:

1) Does it look like it is possible and highly probable that one might remove the key from the lantern without extinguishing the light or destroying the lantern?

2) Can you describe the three rings on the pedastal a bit more for me? My understanding is the 3 rings rotate around the top of the pedastal, but are the words and symbols created when all three rings line up in a certain way? Do all the symbols appear at the same timg when the rings are lined up in a certain way?

I agree. Things are getting back to normal here now, I should be able to start posting again.

I will find some time tonight, review my notes and answer your questions with regards to the ring. I haven't been pressing for updates because I was still pretty busy the last few weeks, but I've found some free time again. Haha. I'd like to see this game go somewhere, it was thoroughly enjoyable for my last victims.

Im just a little out of sorts so an update would get me back into my flow.

There does not appear to be any form of aperture to the key aside from the top of the lamp. One may very well be able to remove the top, or perhaps tip the lamp for an easier way to access said key.

The rings do revolve around the top of the pedestal. To be clear, however, the images you have found do not appear all together. It is also relevant to note that the images do not appear in just a 'normal' fashion. Some are upside down. The more you play with it, the more images you see, and your kobold can even begin to make out a few draconic syllables, not in the words, but in the absence of their engravings.

PS: Mr. Grugg. I've updated about as much as I can see from the most recent actions. Hopefully the next update may reveal something further for the group.
