Heh, it seems I have been operating under the false assumption that the other door was still a possibility without a chainsaw. How far across is the pit again? 5ft if my memory serves (of course I could always go back through the posts to find out myself). Anyway, I guess that's what happens when you vanish for a week.

Edit: I apologize, I had fully intended to post something (I even had some good ideas), but when I was finishing it, my keyboard registered the backspace as 'back' so I lost the post (wasn't too long, thank goodness) but I have to go now. I will fight to do it later, or maybe bring half of it up now.

You're in the room with the pit, but have not crossed it. Two members of your group have crossed it, and one is jumping across now. It's up to you how you want to cross it.

who is across and how wide is the gap?

The hole is 5 feet from the door at minimum in every direction. One member of the group climbed down into it, and then back up to the door. Another member climbed along the side wall and moved into the door. The third member is giving a shot at jumping across. How you do it is up to you.

I've been checking in fairly regularly, but I wait for everyone to give their responses, or for you to tell me what the result was of my last post. I think other people are the same way, but who knows. I haven't been keeping up with who is the slow one.

I'll post an update tomorrow. So if you have anything else to say, say it now.

I guess everyone was like me, lazy this Christmas break. Soon enough people will be back and bother enough to post. Thank-you Sui for the gift. Really moved along compared to the last two or three posts (no sarcasm here). That is not to complain about the posters.
