You have everything that was on your character sheet when you arrived here in this world. Stuff normally not on your person can be found on your horse, saddlebags, etc.

(OOC: Now I do have a question that I am going to post here because the answer is about our battle here. above I have laid out my actions for my next round. However both Billy ans the wolf are going to act before I do so it is possible that Billy finishes the wolf off in his bear hug, or at least causes it to release him in which case it may be in a different position so actually by the time it is my segment of this round the actions posted above may be useless so is it alright to post two actions with one going into effect if the situation changes before it actually becomes my turn? or if I'm not sure what may change can the post I put up actually be changed to meet the new situation because you know it would be impossible to wait and for everyone to actually post in the order of initiative although that would be nice. Thanxs )

Yes it would be ideal if everyone would post in the initiative order, but that can be difficult people have to wait for others to post, etc.

We can do that if everyone is in agreement. It would be easier for the combat flow.

Dragonmist: You can change your post afterwards, I will have a post for the wolves and the results of the ones with initiative before the wolves, and then a later post for those after the wolves. If you wish you can remove your post and wait until your turn, it is all up to you.

Everyone: I would like to hear from everyone about posting in initiative order. If that is fine with all, then that would be preferred.

Of course it would be easier for the flow of a battle to post in initiative order but it will also take more time to complete a round. especially with peoples posting at different times and having to wait for the post and result to be posted before posting their actions..

I also like the idea of people posting in non-order too and with conditional actions based on previous characters moves and results. THen I can go back and edit post for the actually action that takes place.

So it could be aither way for me I will go with majority.

I would vote for conditional posts (esp if you at the bottom of the initiative list). In order posts can rally slow things down if the top folks cannot post right away. The other way I have seen it done is everyone posts what they intend to do and then if their action is no longer possible they have no action that round (a round is only 6 sec so it is very realistic that if your targeted oppenent is suddenly killed by an arrow you might not get in another action other than searching for a new opponent)

i kinda like keepers idea granted it would make things a lot harder but it would defiantly put a good spin on things

I am all for conditional post.. just make sure you specify the actions you want first and then the conditional ones such as...

This... or if this happens.. then this... etc.

Can sleep be used against animals?

I was just lookin over my char sheet and noticed that i did not have a animal companion. I was wondering if it would be possible to convert one of these wolves to my side

DM: Yes.. you can cast sleep on wolves.


Syanide: You could try.. but if Riddle hasnt figured it out yet.. you can tell these creatures are under some kind of control, hence the glowing red eyes and the feeling of evil that the Cleric can sense.

Okay what would it coust me to change Magic Missle for Sleep or color spray if enough are facing her si she can get a group of them

Seriously... you can switch to any spell you wish to cast, but be aware she has only the one wolf in front of her which is now behind the party. The others are still beyond the defensive line formed by the guys. A color spray spell there could be a problem. Now if they get past that line then a color spray could help out if she warned the group first.

as a new gamer to the whole concept of forum posting and the first game that i have actully played in awhile how am i doing so far
