He looked down at Ella and smiled.

"I'm heading back to camp, take your time and enjoy the forest, it's a beautiful place, and you need some peace right now."

He smiled softly before spreading his wings and taking off, something he rarely did. He looked down to see Artura sitting by the campfire. He swooped in low and landed with a gentle thud in front of the fire, giving his wings a few flaps before folding them against his back.

"Enjoy your trip?" he asked.

"Yes and no: the man was amusing. The woman was simply stupid, so I killed her straight off." Artura yawned.

Not exactly the answer he was looking for.

"I'm glad you enjoyed yourself."

He was quiet for a little while.

"You could have at least saved the woman for me..."

A slight smile cracked Artura's lips.

"I figured Ella would subdue you." She retorted.

"Truth be told, I had the chance...but I didn't act. I didn't trust her. I don;t know how many women have done that to me, but it's been more than once. Frankly, I'm not interested in her yet. She's beautiful and smart and funny...but a little too toyish for my taste. Maybe later she'll calm down."

He told her the truth and nothing but it.

Artura just laughed. "She means to be that way, to figure out your true intentions."

"And that, my good woman, is why I did nothing tonight."

He smiled a little as he cracked his leg.

"I'm not a stupid as I look..."

"Well, you look pretty stupid."

Artura wasn't scared to be mean: she was part demon, after all.

"And you look pretty angry...aside from the fact that your always like this...whats wrong. That guy not good enough for you?"

He looked at her, remaining calm. He wasn't offended by her insult, it was a part of her nature,

"No man can satisfy MY needs." Artura pursed her lips and stared at him.

"I wouldn't be so sure."

He smiled. She knew what he was getting at, it was up to her to make the decision. She was a tought one, probabaly dominating...he could deal with that easily.

"You would try to take on a demon lover?" Artura chuckled. "And why would you wish to do that?"

"Because I find you attractive...I'm a man, my needs and criteria are fairly simple..."

He stood up and removed he curaiss and graves, setting them aside. He was getting hot in his armor.

Artura watched him with an eyebrow raised. "Something tells me no one will ever take me seriously."

"Whats to take?"

He smiled at her, but the favor was not returned. Apparently she was trying to make a point.
