"I had a nightmare you were gonna stab me."

He was shocked. He tried to hold her in his arms, but she pulled away fearfully.

"Why would I ever do something like that..."

"I don't know."

Poison stood up, cradling herself. Her eyes were cast at the floor, away from him.

He stood up and started crying softly. She was afraid of him...he was losing her already. He wanted to hit something, destroy something...throw something...but that would giver her all the more reason to hate him.

"Adrian!"

Poison turned around and reached out for him. She didn't want him to cry...

"No...no more. I'm sick of all of this. I can't be with you...it's not your fault...I'm not ready for this. I can't be hurt by this again, I could end up killing you if I did...and I love you..."

He shook his head vigorously, spraying tears all over the place.

"You can stay here for tonight...but you need to leave in the morning."

Poison looked as if she'd just been shocked by lightning. But she regained herself and turned away.

"As you wish, my lord."

She walked out before he could see her crying, and for the first time in years, she went to Earth.

What had he just done...it was to late to undo it. As she opened the door to leave, he whispered softly, "I love you." She hadn't heard him.

Poison ended up on a cliff. Her human body was so different...

She felt so fragile. So easy to break... to kill.

Poison put one foot off the cliff.

"My son, it appears your love is making a grave mistake." The Earth was soft in her voice. "I shall do what I can too speak with her...she does not understand your motives...not entirley."

Adrian was shocked.

"If only you could go to her...in the real world."

He was shocked again, she'd gone into the real world.

Poison tensed and started to completley step off.

The cliff elongated, and Poison stumbled forward, landing on firm ground. The cliff had extended several hundred feet. A booming voice rang into her ears.

"No matter how hard you try, I will foil you each time my child."

It was Earth.

"Leave me alone, I don't want to talk to you."

Poison tried a different approach: she pulled out a knife.

A vine whipped the knife out of her hands. Several more caught Poisons arms and dragged her to the ground, trapping her.

"It is no use, you cannot use your magic here. Magic on Earth and magic in the Spirit realm are different things...you are not yet acclimated to this place. Now it would in your best interest if you let me speak..."

"Go away." Her voice was dead.

"You know me: you know what I was before I met him, Just a husk of my true self. I'm not even that anymore..."
