Once silithus had heard the goblin he was ready for a fight and when he saw the others scarper he was sad he wanted to kill these wretches and be done with it but fortunately his sense prevailed and he followed the others to the hidey-hole something glinted in that pond then he looked in it seeing silver coins although tempted to dip his hands in and grab them soething told him not to no-one else had and someon was bound to of seen them even the hairy centaur didn't he muttered to himself "Impure." aiming the insult at the centaur but out of earshot of IT not wanting to cause a fight and get everyone killed in the process.

Silithus wanted his armour back without metal he felt almost queasy he had no sword to smite these unholy creatures and no armor to prottect him from the evil that their attacks had instead, he had to hide like a rabbit does from a fox and luckily goblins aren't even half as cunning as a fox or have as good hearing, Silithus chuckled quietly at his joke.

As you stand where you are suddenly a great cry comes from down the hallway and the creatures all around start waking up, those of you who can speak goblinoid recognise the call as meaning that the prisoners have escaped.

If you wish to continue play in this adventure please post a response stating so and if not then your characters are rescued, as per planed, and fade into the background as NPC's in another game of mine.

Iliana motion the other and backs up into the side room. IF discovered and attacked it is the only way she can see of them surviving for any time at all. This way they can at least keep the orcs and goblins at bay by forceing them to come at the party through the narrow area of the doorway.

Tyra looks for anything that can be used to help build a barricade. If there is nothing that can be used she prepares her weapons and sets herself up in the best position she can.

Her heart is pounding and there is a look of staunch determination in her eyes

Trynk quietly sings out a song of silent motivation

I think the goblins are aware
They found our cells to be quite bare
We need to hurry round this bend
And sneak on out before they send
A gang of goblin snarly guys
With goblin faces, goblin eyes
They sound quite mad and full of rage
They want to see us in a cage
We must depart this awful place
Or gruel on toast we're going to taste

Iliana looks at Trynk and then the others. "If you want we will take a gamble on the other passage. Point the direction and lets go. WE have a few extra spears. Everyone who wants one take one if we meet a group perhaps we can charge through them. and use our weigth and strength to get us through."

Iliana gathers her spear ahd heads out in the firection Trynk indicates.

When the ruckus of the goblins waking up and finding out they had escaped Delkin was done the one hall scouting, realizing what a bad position he would be in if caught here by himself he at once scrambles back the way he had come to meet back up with the rest of the group in the little hall they had holed up in.

Once back with the others it seems they have decided to try to punch their way out so when he gets back with the group and Iliana offers up the extra spears even though he is not proficient with them he will take one if there are any left to take.If not then I guess he will have to just throw rocks.Not sure how they had decided which way was out Delkin will try to get into the middle of the group and wait for them to move out.

Silthus moved steadily through tthe passageway he was at the back believing that he may withhold a few attacks but was willing to be a martyr if necessary he had the two smaller stones in the palm of his right hand which was raised in a throwing position. as he followed the motley group through the passageway into the next room he felt himself start to perspire but knew his courage would hold at least no-one would know that he died so ungracefully in this godforsaken place. but he knew once he got out of her or if he got out of here he would be part of a 'crusade' to this place to kill neigh thwart the goblin enemy.

as you prepare yourself for the worst you hear a strange nose, even me as a DM doesn't quite know how to describe it but, it sounds like the sound of at least 50 crossbow bolts embedding themselves into at least 50 goblins and orcs followed by the charge of armed soldiers as you are confronted by a very small division of the countries armies

The twang of a great many crossbows firing almost at one time was distinctive. as were the cries of goblins hit and going down. Illiana holds up her had to stop their charge before they all ran into the crossfire of the battle now is progress.

"It seems this place is being raided and since we don't know who is engauging them we best not go charging in without checking." Ilianna moves forward crouched low to see if she can see just who has attacked the goblins.

Tyra stands at the corner of their hidey hole will use her spear to attack any goblin or orc that comes their way. She has a score to settle with them and a thirst for their blood to be spilled.

So Delkin with the rest of the group that had exscaped where getting ready for what could be a sucide run for freedom when they where stopped in their tracks by the sound of combat coming from the area they where about to enter.Delkin had been around enough to know the sound of a crossbow's twangy string sound as it was fired, and they heard many such sounds all at once.Then there was no mistaking the cries of the goblins who had been hit and where now dying.

Moving from the middle to the front where the two ladies Tyra and Illiana had been preparing to lead the charge Delkin motinons to them that he will move forward and take a quick look at what has happened in the next chamber.Continuing to use his varied skilla in moving and hiding he will move to a point where he can see into the part of the cave where the goblins had been sleeping he will then quickly return to the group and report.

With the goblins occupied
It may be time to run outside
They may be in a battle now
But who they fight might be the drow
We need to see who charges in
To occupy the goblin den
Before the goblins are replaced
We need know whom the goblins faced

Silithus didn't believe his luck and maybe he would be in the crusade against this place. he couldn't wait to hear illiana s cry that it was paladins or soldiers muc hlike himself he clutched his stone with new found courage and lobbed one into the goblins aopproaching but proceeded retreating away.

Due to exams in under 16 weeks I am stopping this game until the end of them in an effort to give myself more revision time.

This is the first and hopefully last game I will have to stop so smite me all you want but it wont get me posting anymore on it.
