There is some really good potential for roleplay if we drag the dinner out just a little longer, I think... but I don't think it's necessary to get too carried away with it... If anything "major" comes of the interactions over dinner, there's always back posts, right?

I'd say leave it up to those who have yet to post any interactions at dinner (or during that time frame, as the case may be)... if there's nothing they want to add at this point, let's jump ahead... if there is, give it til the end of the day or something and jump from there?

I'm anxious to "get started" myself, but man is there some good stuff unravelling at the dinner table!

I won't announce the end, per se; we'll just jump ahesd to the next thing. That being said, as Eol pointed out, you can ALWAYS bckpost anything that might have been left out.

I would like to see Gavison's reaction, so I'll probably holdoff one more day for those who need to post to do so.

On the 'Go Nat!', thanks. It was also a big deal for the character who is not used to public speaking and is usually not very commanding of her team. I hope it came off ok.

It occurs to me that my last post looks someone ignorant and childish. Yes, I know there's another bar with the officers. And the thought processes are Mali's alone. Yes, she wanted to mingle and LEFT the crowd. That was intentional. She's a fascinating character to me, so I'm just letting her ride.

On a side note, Mali is not her given name, nor is Damali. Zara is her given name. Damali is her family name. Bajoran's give their family name's first. She goes by Mali for the ease of others primarily. (thanks Olan)

There's nothing wrong with that post that I can see, Sui... Make that character yours, dude!

Also, the Bajoran given name/surname slip was completely my oops! Take two geek-points away from Eol's score card please... I just got myself confuddled somehow and completely forgot about the "Mali origin's". Anyhoo, keep up the good posts... I look forward to seeing where you go with Zara.

I've finally done it... I hoped to have it up sooner but today has been a bit busy at work. I didn't take it too far mainly because I wanted to give people the chance to talk to Kat...
